Rasmiya Na’im “ Um Awni” was born in 1937 in Beit Hanoun city in Gaza .

Rasmiya had 7 sons and 3 daughters , she was a illiterate , but that did not stop her from being a great example of ambition , patience to all her children during their Education journey as she always encouraged them that all her children as a result became teachers , doctors and engineers .

Rasmiya planted the love of homeland in her children hearts as she taught them about Palestine , and how connected they are to their roots, she planted the love of the creator in their hearts as Rasmiya has always been an inspiration and a source of wisdom to them.

On January 6th , we lost our precious Rasmiya , as she was martyred after the IOF targeted her with her family as they were seeking refuge in Deir Al Balah .
