one day i was high out of my mind scrolling twitter short form videos at 4am and i came across this and it was genuinely the funniest thing i had ever seen in my life and i still think about it every single day
@berk_hamstead@LucyHunterB@ScottishTrans@thetimes Absolutely. I dont disagree. Placing them in the female estate should never have been on the table. If those in power ever thought that TIMs safety in the male estate was the important issue then they would have explored these procedures or separate accommodation.
@EasyPeasy_3 I'd settle for competent governance instead of the performative nonsense served up for the past 12 years. That was the thing the SNP did well in the 7 years leading up to the indy ref.
🧵 China’s population collapse is now mathematically irreversible.
There simply aren’t enough women left of childbearing age.
Even if the fertility rate magically returned to replacement level (2.1 children per woman) tomorrow, the country would still lose more than 40% of its population by 2100.
It won't. The real number is 75%. There's nothing like it in history. 🧵
@HJoyceGender Noa-Lynn has already competed in the open competition at the PDC World Championship in 25/26 which allows males and females to compete against each other see Fallon Sherrock, Beau Greaves etc. There is no need for Noah Lynn to retire, just compete in these open categories comps.
@ThoughtsAbStuff@ForWomenScot@hightreebud@HadleyFreeman@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret I am aware that the lighter shade of red means plurality disagree as opposed to majority disagree. To spin this as women being 'pro' extended trans rights is dishonest. Any neutral reading of the graphic would show by in large women disagree with the majority of the statements
@ThoughtsAbStuff@ForWomenScot@hightreebud@HadleyFreeman@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret What part of the red x's under the women column in the graphic above makes you think women are more overwhelming in favour of trans rights. You can spin it that they're slightly more tolerant than men but certainly not "in favour" extended trans rights.
Cultural institutions constantly say funding's their main issue. It's not. It's that they've lost sight of the point of the arts. From backing houndings to prioritising everything but artistic merit, they need overhauled. This week's Scotsman piece. RT!
