@greenkmr_3@ProudSocialist That is why it is cheap. Because Marxist countries are hell holes and you should count your lucky little stars you dont live in one. Because you wouldn't last a day
@keithoboyle@LinusNadz@TRobinsonNewEra If you are comfortable with that principle,it should apply to people with larger public platforms, leading demonstrations where slogans such as "globalise the intifada" are used. If reach and influence increase the severity, the same standard should apply consistently
@LinusNadz@TRobinsonNewEra I think we are mostly aligned there. Both should be dealt with proportionately. The answer is to address the root causes so this does not keep repeating.
@keithoboyle@LinusNadz@TRobinsonNewEra Refusing to acknowledge the root cause will make it worse.
Sentencing should be proportionate and in this comparison, it is not. 3 years for physically harming an official vs 3 years for an online tweet does not make sense unless he was at the riot handing out punches.
@LinusNadz@TRobinsonNewEra What created this mentality in the first place. Many people argue It is the failures of government and police to protect the community from persistent violent offending. Online posts are an expression of the dissatisfaction, not the root cause of riots.
@keithoboyle@LinusNadz@TRobinsonNewEra It would be more compelling if consequences for incitement to violence were applied without bias.
Also the real issue is why did old mate feel the need to post anything at all? Maybe its related to foreigners punching cops, raping kids and stabbing the locals?
@LinusNadz@TRobinsonNewEra Do you honestly believe that is reasonable? Wouldn't you feel much safer in a society of fat white pussies saying things online into a vacuum like X rather than entitled violent people punching cops at the airport, of all places.
@LinusNadz@TRobinsonNewEra The common factor is sentence length.
One was a social media post, the other was blatant assault on a police officer.
person based in the UK commenting on this video risks receiving the same sentence as the violent perpetrator in the video.
Totally backwards.
