@RealMattA_ NO GoFundMe is being set up. There will be a donation process with strict limits on who can donate.
It will be administered by the Rideau Hall Foundation. The list of donors will be made public to avoid conflicts of interest or "buying access"
Grow up and stop spreading LIES!
So, who censored you here now?
You Dumpster Muppets are just making shit up out of desperation.
Do you feel stupid, @Christy4Change, after posting such stupid garbage?
You know...it's funny....right‑wing commentators in Canada keep chanting that the Carney government is “the same as Trudeau’s” and that “nothing has changed in 11 years.” It’s a dramatic line, but it collapses the moment you look at the Conservative Party of Canada’s own track record over that same period. If anyone has been repeating the same patterns for 11 years, it’s them.
First, the CPC has enjoyed massive donation surges—millions flowing in year after year—yet somehow those financial advantages never translate into stable leadership or coherent policy. That leads directly to their second failure: blowing election leads. Multiple cycles have shown them ahead early, only to crumble under weak messaging, internal drama, or leaders who simply couldn’t connect with voters.
Third, the likability problem. Eleven years of leaders who poll well with the base but struggle with everyone else. Fourth, poor leadership turnover: resignations, replacements, rebrands, and still no consistent direction. Fifth, the optics disasters—tone‑deaf social media posts, awkward public appearances, and messaging that alienates moderates instead of attracting them.
So when commentators insist “it’s been the same for 11 years,” maybe they should look in the mirror. Because if we’re measuring 11‑year patterns, the CPC’s failures are loud, public, and impossible to ignore. Before repeating that slogan again, they might want to check their own 11‑year record first.
Hope your coffee is hot and your morning is easy, you awesome Canadians.
M.

MacEachern: Pierre Poilievre doesn't take advice. You see Andrew Scheer out today on 24 Sussex. You put out somebody who's lived in not one, but two official residents to criticize the prime minister. The lad's not for helping.
Whoever the fucking moron is from this fake site “Democracy Watch” clearly didn’t read the “I will not live at 24 Sussex and no corporate donations or foreign donations will be allowed” part.
Dumb MAGATS.
CTV just aired a piece on 24 Sussex Drive with PM Carney explaining what will happen and provided a brief history on the residence,
Than showed Pierre spewing his shit that 24 Sussex isn't important.
Pierre is a straight up asshole.
He lives in a free mansion, Resign Pierre..
@franco_nomics Funny that you imply that taxpayers shouldn't pay anything to ensure that the PM has a proper residence but not a peep about Stornoway and its costs, although its inhabitants not PM. Your organization has become little more than a CPC outlet.
Memo to the Toronto @BlueJays:
In case you weren’t aware, Joe Girardi, Alex Cora, Joe Maddon, and Bruce Bochy are all currently not managing in the Big Leagues.
Any of them would be a vast improvement to what you currently have.
Make a call or two.

«Pour obtenir ce qu'il y a de mieux, il faut faire appel aux meilleurs talents», déclare le premier ministre Mark Carney, alors qu’il annonce, accompagné de l'architecte Moshe Safdie, un concours d'architecture national en vue de la restauration du 24, promenade Sussex.

@GrandpaKen05 It’s so funny to me that no one seems to be squawking about all the renovations on parliament hill for the next 5-7 years and the hundreds of millions spent on them. Yet the world is falling because there’s finally a PM willing to fix this historical place…
Apparently Democracy Watch is unaware that the PM has stated that he would not live at 24 Sussex.
This is yet another good opportunity, in light of DW’s interest in transparency, to ask the reporters who quote them to also ask who funds Democracy Watch.
