@zorabet_ I had a friend say that to me last year. I remember having a moment of oh why (which was stupid). Later that day, we had turned the lights off at the library and he ran ahead of me to catch up to his dad. I saw him light up the whole way and it stopped me dead in my tracks.

Appreciate how Noah Kahan talked about OCD. I also fell into the trap of thinking "I don't always obsessively wash my hands over & over, so I don't have it." Meanwhile, it felt like my brain was destroying itself. We need more conversation about what OCD can look and feel like.

@offbeatorbit I’m sorry for your loss. I’m a hospice RN. I never want to push the book on people , but I like to think in some ways it helps. I always tell families nothing is going to prepare you fully , but I’d like to do anything I can prepare somewhat for this moment.
