🇮🇷|Three Times They Asked for Talks. Three Times They Attacked. Iran’s Foreign Minister Laid Out the Record.
Araghchi: In 2025. They offered negotiations. Iran accepted. Iran engaged. Then, in the middle of the negotiations, they attacked.
February 2026. Eight months later. Again they offered negotiations. Again Iran accepted. Again they attacked in the middle of the negotiations.
After the war. They offered negotiations for a deal. Iran accepted. Three months of negotiations. Then it took them only two weeks to violate a deal they had signed themselves.
That is the record.
Three times they asked. Three times Iran said yes. Three times they attacked. Three times they proved that their word is worthless.
And then they wonder why Iran doesn’t trust them. They wonder why Iran hesitates. They wonder why Iran builds missiles and drones and air defenses instead of relying on American promises.
This is not a “diplomatic dispute.” This is a pattern. This is a method. This is a strategy.
They use negotiations as cover. They use talks as a pause. They use deals as a trap. They draw you in, they learn your positions, they buy time, they prepare, and then they strike.
And they do it while you are still at the table. While you are still talking. While you are still hoping.
Araghchi said: “If you ask us, there is no reason why we should go back to diplomacy.”
He is right. There is no reason. No logical reason. No strategic reason. No moral reason. After three betrayals, the only rational conclusion is to never trust them again. To never sit with them again. To never sign with them again. To never give them another chance to lie, to stall, to prepare, to attack.
But then he said something else.
“But I am still trying diplomacy because I think we shouldn’t miss any chance for peace.”
That is not weakness. That is not naivety. That is not surrender. That is a man who has been betrayed three times, who knows he will probably be betrayed again, who has every reason to walk away and still tries.
Because he knows what war costs. He knows what his people have suffered. He knows what the region has lost. He knows that the only thing worse than a failed negotiation is no negotiation at all.
He is not trusting America. He is trusting the possibility of peace. He is not expecting honesty from Washington. He is hoping for a miracle. He is not forgetting the betrayals. He is choosing to try anyway.
That is the difference between Iran and the United States. The US uses diplomacy as a weapon. Iran uses diplomacy as a duty. The US lies, stalls, and strikes. Iran engages, accepts, and endures. The US walks away when it gets what it wants. Iran keeps trying even when it gets nothing.
Araghchi said there is no reason to return to diplomacy. He is returning anyway. Not because he trusts the US. Because he owes it to his people to try.
This is the country that used Agent Orange on forests.
Depleted uranium on cities.
White phosphorus on civilians.
And called it all "necessary."
It reads out the word "humanity" at the UN while selling cluster bombs to whoever can pay.
The tragedy is not that the U.S. lies.
The tragedy is that millions cling to those lies because the alternative would mean admitting they have been cheering for the largest terrorist organization in history.
Are large-scale operations against Iran on the horizon?
Jack Keane, retired US Army General: "A military operation is inevitable... Hamas is rebuilding its forces. They have recruited thousands of new fighters, and there has been no change in their positions... Hezbollah, despite the heavy blows it has suffered, still adheres to its goals. Iran is the center of gravity in this entire situation. If we eliminate this center of gravity, the forces operating through it will also gradually weaken.
A military operation is inevitable. This process will include a blockade, economic pressure, as well as large-scale military operations by Israel and the United States aimed at ending this situation. These operations should create the necessary conditions for the regime to collapse.
Secret operations by the Mossad and the CIA will also be aimed at exacerbating internal divisions within the regime, as well as supporting the Iranian people in their resistance, and yes, in taking up arms against this regime. I believe that is most likely how the situation will unfold."
