Christ-centered. Questioning narratives. Thinking clearly.

@n0remains@HLC_actual It is your choice to say that.
However much you believe it, doesn't make it right.
God is real. Open yourself up to him. He has completely changed my life. It's never too late.
@ramendik@japan_nobunaga I don't think anyone is going to care what we think, to be honest. The anti-white crap has been going on in the West for a while now, and people are sick of it. Very evidently so.
This has to do with Henry, from the UK. He was killed, and the obvious hypocrisy is hard to ignore. So people are pointing out how even in the UK, people, including British police, took a knee for a criminal.
Yet, its okay for Henry to die, cause he's white.
Honestly at this point, this has been a long time coming and I think Henry's death was just the last straw.
James, if that's what happened to your family, then I'm sorry.
A church turning its back on a poor family isn't Christlike.
But I'd challenge one thing. The failures of Christians don't tell us whether Christ is true.
I've met hypocrites too. Truthfully, I've been one.
The question I had to answer wasn't whether Christians always get it right. It was whether Jesus is who He claimed to be.
That's the question I couldn't escape.
James, I could spend all day arguing each meme individually, but that's not really my goal.
The truth is, I didn't come to Christ because I had every question answered. I came to Christ because I realized I was a sinner who needed forgiveness. A year ago, I was just like you. I thought like you.
You keep attacking Christianity, but have you ever seriously read one of the Gospels for yourself?
Not a meme. Not a quote. Not what someone else says Jesus taught.
Actually read about Jesus.
That's all I'm asking.
@Vroomfondel1957@RossyPrime Yes.
I dont hate them. I want them to be saved. It's not a myth, either. Christ is real, and has had an amazing impact on my life.
@lovesqueens@buddy37c@RossyPrime Um, I wasnt whining about anything. I think you're confusing me for the other guy. All I did was ask a question. If you celebrate those months, great.
However, that being said... pride is still sin.
Why do people who dont follow Christ, try to use Scripture against christians? Pride is still sin. Homosexuality is still sin.
To know this, and not say anything.... is insane. We have a responsibility to warn them.
If you're a follower of Christ... warn them! You can continue to fix yourself and repent, while helping others.
Before we even discuss homosexuality, Scripture repeatedly condemns pride itself.
'Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.' (Proverbs 16:18)
'God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.' (James 4:6)
Christians shouldn't celebrate pride in any form. The Gospel calls us to humility, repentance, and submission to Christ.
And 'Judge not' doesn't erase God's moral standards. Jesus condemned hypocritical judgment, not righteous judgment according to God's Word.
