The 4th of July commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.

This document declared the 13 American colonies' independence from British rule, marking the birth of the United States of America.

•We've gone from 13 colonies to 50 states & 2.5 million people to 370 million.

•In 250 years as a nation we've seen lifespans increase 35 years.

•The United States is back to back world war champions, we are at the forefront of most of the technological & scientific advances, & we even sent men to land on the moon.

The white buildup is hail (not snow), piled up several inches deep in spots from intense thunderstorms with penny-sized hail, 50-60 mph winds, and heavy rain. The flowing water is runoff from melting hail + rain.
