@vote4robgill @Rogers Honestly do they think that 3.80 is fair, I lost customers, my parents are not well and there was no communication with them. I was waiting on lab results and couldn’t get a phone call. Is Rogers aware that if we send smoke signals that it’s the fire department that comes running
This Rogers outage is crazy. Police can’t function. Passport offices. Restaurants. ATM’s. Court houses. This is a bigger deal than they’re acting like it is. Half of the country is not functional.
The fact that today's Rogers outage has cut remote & office work, mobile phone access, debit/credit payments in-store, 911 services, and slowed down all services outside of Rogers shows that telecom monopolies can literally destroy functioning societies.
Do better, Canada.
Why would a monopoly like Rogers care for their customers ?? Do we really have any other options ? Even the 911 services are down. What else can we say… #internetdown#outage#nointernet
As bad as this outage is in eastern Canada, imagine how much worse it would be if Rogers gets to control all of Shaw's internet infrastructure in the west. This is basically exhibit A in the case against industry consolidation.
So can we all then agree that we shouldn't be allowing one company to have an on/off switch that affects Interac, 911 services, banks, ATMs, phone lines, cell service and Internet?
All those services should never be in position to be affected all at once.
#rogersoutage
This Canada-wide Rogers outage really highlights the dangers of monopolized industries. When one malfunction can put half of a country’s economy on pause, we have a big problem.
@nirothfx@IxovZiegfeld yes, only Coeurl got the hit this time. But they are now slowly coming back on line. Just playing the Que numbers game now. Started off at 745 now 350
@windows_choice Would #NotRecommend Months of #excuses. Still not fixed, blames manufacturer, expects customer to deal with manufacturer. #Rudestaff. If they don't want to deal with you they accuse you of offending them, then hang up on you. #badcustomerservice
