Children’s entertainer Ms. Rachel visited the Delaney Hall immigration detention center in New Jersey and met with children whose parents are being held there.

After speaking with the families, she shared that many of the children were heartbroken and wanted to be reunited with their parents. The facility has also faced criticism and investigations over reported concerns about conditions and access to services for detainees.

Rioters set homes, vehicles and buses on fire across Belfast in a night of destruction fueled by anti-immigration anger. Fire crews scrambled to extinguish burning cars as crowds gathered in the streets and police cordoned off areas.
