Everything they say about Shinji Aoyama's EUREKA is true. Glad I waited and watched it at the movies and not on a 700mb avi file 20 years ago. Movies can break you to pieces and put you back together again, but you won't be the same.
Looks great on the big screen, undoubtedly, but this is a rare film that earns a special quality in that it was broadcast directly into people's living rooms. I cannot picture its signifcance any other way.
