Wow... This is a devastating article about @UHC / @Optum. This is in my neighborhood. Selling out to Optum was the wrong thing to do... now it takes months to get appts, patients are pushed to urgent care, you can't get through on their phone system, and you can't even reach someone's primary doctor to discuss a troubling imaging finding. These folks at Optum, as stated in the article, are committing fraud, purposefully limiting access to care, making docs sign horrible contracts and more. Sadly, we know that @CMSGov isn't going to do anything... I doubt the @FTC will either. Will the @doj be able to? Nah... @uhc is too big and too powerful. That's why you don't see much in the MSM about this, other than from Dan Diamond. @examinerstone is a local reporter taking the reigns and running with this and he deserves kudos.
