@RonRice65 @TheFabulousOne @JoyceWhiteVance No one legally hunts with a magazine that size in most states. In Michigan there are limits. I think it's 4 or 5 rounds. You need a special magazine for the AR as a 30 rounder is illegal for hunting.

@Wisers94 @TheFabulousOne @JoyceWhiteVance Yeah I use a 7mm rem mag too. It's about 2.5x the power of a .223. I think that's a bit more humane. When a deer gets hit at 2600 fps by a 165 grain bullet it's instantly lights out. The 223 is just too wimpy to use on deer if you can help it.

@MeidasTouch The US uses something like 150 billion gallons of gasoline per year. The profit margin on gasoline isnt exactly huge.
