When girls are together talking over tea and cake (no boys around), it's a religious experience, the way they talk about their dreams and favorite books, dress they got from the sale, the mother issues and insecurities, their fictional crushes, it's all so wonderful
@myownophilic Also the things you can do to help him are •Create a safe space for him to talk about his feelings.
• Validate his feelings and words.
• Help him seek treatment from a professional if he's not.
• Acknowledge his small wins.
• Try not to have arguments about appearances.
@myownophilic As a psych student, I don't think it's okay tbh. Bcoz first of all It's a disorder and a major issue he's been dealing with. It's something that comes from within so you lying about having a crush on him won't help him heal. Plus if ever he finds out about it, it'll shatter him.
my biggest 🚩 is that i’ve normalised silent treatment when im not in mood for a talk. i don’t really know how to express my feelings especially when im sad and hurt. i only talk to myself in my head about how i feel all the time.
