@PatMillsComics My favorite nit is how healthy those relationahips were. Usually when you open the relationship up ita because its dying so to see one portrayed so naturally is quite nice.
@CapnKibs Or like irreversible, i understand the importance of irreversible but its not something i want to watch.
So everyone has their limit on that kind of stuff. So i get it.
@CapnKibs So like i get what hes saying to a point. Like i can't watch A24 films marinate in some family trauma for 2 hours and make it seem deep. But thats me being annoyed by horror directors trying to be artists
@GunnerDobbins Wait till tou get to the origin novels, that was god emperor of dune leveks of trippy. Always did annoy me that theyxnrver kept the morphs they got in the special books. Like them moephing into a trex would have been pretty sweet
@MrGabeHernandez For supergirl, if you arent doing season 6 or 7 of thr CW tv show. I dont know how to make that character work for an adult audience.
Its easy with teenagers, but the supergirl tv show should be the template for the character as its the most successful.
@MrGabeHernandez You can foils to the el family, your own homelander or plutonian to mirror kal'el. You can have humanity nor ssnt to be led and so selfish, inhumane things in apite of everything.
But the El still have to be symbols for hope and good in people.
@MrGabeHernandez@ComicalOpinions The real question should be what value would those series bring? How would they be different than anything else out on the market?
Make them kid books maybe? Otherwise, what do you do?
@MrGabeHernandez Problem with that book is that its the opposite of subtle. And therefore they will make a reaction to todays politics instead of politics in general and thats where it will fall apart.
@MrGabeHernandez So to like play devil's advocate, in utopian fiction a communist utopia is like the wet dream of that kind of fiction. The federation is a great example of this, but it only works as a reaction to the corruption of all government.
Its got to be a subtle idealistic vision
@HellRazorsDB It violated established lore. The main character didn't desire anything when she solved the box, she was just using it as a fidget spinner talking about her problems. And per pinhead, hands do not summon us. The majoeity of that movie's plot should have not have taken place
@PatMillsComics I saw the breakdown of dog man in comparison to the rest of the comics industry and it was sobering. Western comics is concerned by peanuts when the real money is just so beyons them its not even funny.
