@CynthiaShirax This thread is so good! 🔥🤌 I played the game this year and I stuff like this is exactly why the game deserves a remake - to go deeper than the original could at the time! (Ex: Freya and Amarant have so much more to say than they allot for time-wise in the original)

@winteryournight Brother this isn’t a TGA problem though, this is an industry issue - the big companies are doing everything to consolidate down not create - I’d go so far as to say that TGA actually encourages competition and pushes these companies to even have reveals in the first place.

It was SO refreshing to see so much passion for the arts gathering in one place being celebrated. (Especially in 2025 when every billionaire seemingly wants to kill every artist and their jobs)

Ufotable does this a lot where I recognize their work being both something that pushes the medium as a whole to the brink and might be overkill at the same time haha

@_Wolfsteak_ @krembeni I saw Trigger’s Sushio earlier this year and he expressed the same sentiment when asked about the direction of the anime industry, he said something like “we should strive to make awesome animation, but also it should be clear enough that your grandma can watch and understand it”

@_Wolfsteak_ Wouldn’t be able to say no personally, but I agree that the direction of the film would have to be taken more seriously. Zelda games have silly humor, but the narratives are always thematically serious. For example, I doubt you can play Ganondorf the way they did with Bowser haha
