Key details about Israeli military activity across all fronts following the October 7, 2023, Hamas-led attack on southern Israel:
โข ~100,000 targets struck: 65,000 in Gaza, 28,000 in Lebanon and Syria, 4,500 in Iran, 80 in Yemen.
โข ~31,500 rockets, missiles and drones fired at Israel, including 20,000 from Lebanon and 10,200 from Gaza
โข 970 IDF personnel killed; more than 70% of wounded soldiers back in service.
โข Reserve force up 36%, with combat reservists serving 80โ100 days a year.
โข ~45,000 wanted suspects detained in the West Bank.
The IDF also published a list of 27 senior figures it says it has killed, including Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Hamas leaders Yahya Sinwar, Mohammed Deif and Ismail Haniyeh, and Hezbollah's Hassan Nasrallah.
Post-October 7 changes: ~40 new military posts along the Gaza border, a reinforced barrier above and below ground, a new eastern-border division, and new rapid-response brigades in the West Bank.
I cannot overstate how significant the rescue of the second crew member from the downed F-15E is. The op denied Tehran a major propaganda victory, stripping it of leverage it could have used to shape negotiations to end to the war on its terms.
Bravo to the rescuers involved.
