@JoshYohe_PGH I know Kelly is dealing with a deck That’s not quite full as far as a roster, but he has absolutely no instincts when it comes to being a major league manager honestly that could be an organization thing where his hands are tied and he has to do what the analytics say
@MarkMaddenX Move Rackell, Novak and Brazeau. Opens a spot on Sid’s line. Kindel to number 2 center between 71 and 59. 3rd line wide open. 4th line is Lizotte, Dewar and A Hayes. 4 spots open in top 3 lines. Youth gets a chance or you shoot for the stars in a trade.
@PatMcAfeeShow@PKSubban1 Except it already did. Mario Lemieux is the most talented hockey player of all time. If his body would have cooperated he would have scored 1000 goals. Nobody better.
@KodyDuncanPGH Carmen not a starter but could solve the bullpen depth issue. Bart not a major league anything and this line up they should have just
Forfeited today and save us all a bunch of time and frustration. These games matter and they do this to often.
@MarkKaboly I don’t understand how it’s a blind side. The Cowboys were on the clock and how the hell were the Steelers supposed to know they would trade with their arch rival. That would be like the Steelers and ravens making a trade.
A final piece of advice from Holly Butcher - written the day before she passed away from cancer at just 27:
“It’s a strange thing knowing you’re going to die young.
At 26, I thought I had time…
To fall in love.
Start a family.
Grow old.
But cancer doesn’t care about plans.
Now, I understand how fragile life really is. Every single day is a gift, not a guarantee.
I’m not writing this to scare you. I’m writing to remind you: really live.
Stop stressing over little things. Be kind to your body- move it, nourish it, stop criticizing it. One day you’ll wish you had appreciated it.
Go outside.
Look at the sky.
Feel the sun.
Just be.
Spend less time chasing “stuff” - more time making memories. Don’t skip moments with people you love.
Laugh more.
Write a note.
Tell someone you love them.
Complain less.
Give more.
Helping others brings more joy than anything you can buy.
Be present.
Put your phone down.
Show up - really show up.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need a perfect body, or a perfect life.
Just follow what makes your heart light up. Say no to what drains you. Make changes when you need to.
And please - donate blood. I wouldn’t have had that extra year without it. And that year gave me memories I’ll hold close… forever.
Thank you for reading this.
Live your life well.
And maybe… we’ll meet again someday.”

@JoshYohe_PGH Seriously why are we complicating this. Braz and Mantha have played well all year. Malkin and 59 have played well all year. This isn’t the time to experiment. Same with PP and Def. Go with what works.
@KodyDuncanPGH That’s the problem with analytics they start the week and map out what everybody’s gonna do instead of old-school managers when they had a feel for what was going on in the dugout and who needed to sit and not
@DanZangrilli Corbin for 1yr/1 Mill would have been perfect before he signed with Toronto. I understand babying the three younger kids, but Keller and Skenes have got to put up Innings because you can’t babysit a five man rotation with this bullpen constantly.
