@McGumboBabushka @hadrianussept The early church celebrated Mass in Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, etc. The Vulgate (4th cent. Latin translation of scripture) is called so because the term vulgate means common tongue. -Historical context for Mass in the language of the people.
