@tpasinet Jay's is where Mr. Comet took his espresso on campus at WVU. It's where he first saw latte art (c. 1997). He worked at the Moose briefly. But, he learned to love coffee in '92 at the Drowsy Parrot in Saline. Jay's espresso program was WAY ahead of the curve.

@joshua_lmartin @DE_Gifford We’re not really informed about the issues or compromises involved. A select few businesses are getting their patios extended by the taxpayers at the price of a few parking spots. We were too late getting to the table to do anything but be told what was going to happen.

@cybersprache MIT calculates a living wage for Washtenaw County. We exceed that. You’re tilting at windmills here. Call it what you will, there are many businesses in the State Street Area that are unable to keep regular business hours because they lack staff. Sorry for the inconvenience.
