கரூர் கூட்ட நெரிசலில் பலியான 41 பேரின் குடும்பங்களுக்கு அரசாங்க வேலை வழங்கிய தமிழக அரசாங்கத்தின் அரசாணையை, இந்திய அரசியலமைப்புச் சட்டம் பிரிவு 14 மற்றும் 16-க்கு எதிரானது எனக் கூறி சென்னை உயர் நீதிமன்றம் ரத்து செய்துள்ளது.

அரசாங்கத்தின் அலட்சியம் அல்லது கடமையின்மையால் பொதுமக்கள் உயிரிழந்தாலோ அல்லது பாதிக்கப்பட்டாலோ, வெறும் கருணைத் தொகை வழங்குவது மட்டுமே தீர்வாகாது; அக்குடும்பங்களை நீண்ட காலத்திற்கு பாதுகாத்து ஆதரிப்பது அரசாங்கத்தின் தார்மீக மற்றும் சட்டப்பூர்வ கடமையாகும். அதன்படி, பாதிக்கப்பட்ட குடும்பங்களுக்கு அரசாங்க வேலை வழங்குவது நியாயமானதே ஆகும்.

ஆனால், இந்த துயர சம்பவத்தின் விசாரணை சிபிஐ வசம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டு, ஓய்வுபெற்ற உச்ச நீதிமன்ற நீதிபதியால் கண்காணிக்கப்பட்டு விசாரணை நிலுவையில் இருக்கும்போது, அல்லது குறைந்தபட்சம் முதற்கட்ட விசாரணை அறிக்கை தாக்கல் செய்யப்படாத நிலையில் அரசாங்க வேலை வழங்குவது நியாயமாகாது.

ஒருவேளை, அரசாங்கத்தின் கடமைத் தவறியதாலோ அல்லது கவனக்குறைவினாலோ தான் கரூரில் 41 உயிர்கள் இழக்கக் காரணம் என்று CBI/நீதிமன்ற விசாரணையில் நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டால், பாதிக்கப்பட்ட குடும்பங்களுக்கு உடனடியாக அரசாங்க வேலை வழங்கிட வேண்டும்.

அதுவரை, அக்குடும்பங்களுக்கு மேலும் கருணைத் தொகை வழங்குவும், உயர் நீதிமன்றம் கூறியதை போல் அவர்களுக்கு தொழில்நுட்பத் திறன்களைப் பயிற்சி அளித்து தொழில்முனைவோர்களாக உருவாக்குவதை குறித்தும் அரசாங்கம் பரிசீலிக்கலாம்.

1. இந்த பணியாணை தற்காலிகமானதாக இருக்கும் என்ற நிபந்தனையுடன் அரசு தனது பணியைத் தொடரலாம்.

2. இந்த பணியாணை நீதிமன்ற மறுஆய்வுக்கு உட்பட்டது. வேலைவாய்ப்பு வழங்கப்படும் நபர்களுக்கு முதல் சம்பளம் கிடைப்பதற்கு முன்பே, இந்த மாத இறுதிக்குள் இந்த விவகாரத்தை விசாரிக்க நாங்கள் உத்தேசித்துள்ளோம்.

3. உயர்நீதிமன்றம் தானாக முன் வந்து (Suo motu) பொதுப் பணி ஆணையத்தின் (TNPSC) உறுப்பினர் செயலரை வழக்கில் இணைத்துக்கொண்டது.

4. கருணை அடிப்படையில் பணி நியமனங்கள் செய்யும்போது பின்பற்றப்பட வேண்டிய வழிகாட்டுதல்கள் என்ன என்றும் தற்போதைய வழக்கில் அந்த வழிகாட்டுதல்கள் பின்பற்றப்பட்டதா என்பது குறித்த அறிக்கையைத் தாக்கல் செய்யுமாறு கூறியது.

அரசாங்கத்தின் கொள்கை முடிவுகளில் நீதிமன்றம் தலையிடுவது என்பது மிகவும் வரையறுக்கப்பட்ட எல்லைக்கு உட்பட்டதாகும்.

இந்த வழக்கை ஜூலை 21 ஆம் தேதிக்கு ஒத்தி வைத்தது உயர் நீதிமன்றம்.

The amendments were made to the Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (in Shops and Bars) Rules, 2003 were notified on 24.07.2026.

Rule 10, Sub-rule (1) -

"கடைக்குள் அல்லது கடைக்கு அருகில் அமைந்திருக்க வேண்டும்" என்பது "கடைக்கு அருகிலோ அல்லது கடைக்கருகில் நூறு மீட்டருக்குள்ளோ அமையலாம், sub-rule (1) of rule 8 -ல் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள நிபந்தனைகளுக்கு உட்பட்டு" என மாற்றப்பட்டது.

முதலில், உள்ளிருப்பு போராட்டங்கள் (sit-in protests) பல நாட்களை கடந்து நடக்கும்போது, சூழ்நிலைகளை பொறுத்து நாளுக்கு நாள் கோரிக்கைகள் அதிகரிக்கும்.
CJP நடத்தும் இந்த போராட்டம் ஒரு மாதத்திற்கு மேலாக நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.

03.06.2026 அன்று, பல்வேறு தேர்வு முறைகேடுகள் காரணமாக 'ஒன்றிய கல்வி அமைச்சர் பதவி விலகல்' கோரி 06.06.2026 அன்று போராட்டம் நடத்தப்படும் என்று CJP அறிவித்தது.

CJP தனது முதல் போராட்டத்தை 06.06.2026 அன்று தொடங்கியது. ஜந்தர் மந்தரில் சமூக ஆர்வலர் சோனம் வாங்சுக் அவர்களும் இதில் கலந்துகொண்டார்,

பின்னர், 20.06.2026 அன்று ஜந்தர் மந்தரில் இரண்டு கோரிக்கைகளுடன் 'ஒன்றிய கல்வி அமைச்சரின் பதவி விலகல் மற்றும் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட குடும்பங்களுக்கு இழப்பீடு' உள்ளிருப்பு போராட்டம் நடத்தினர். சோனம் அந்த போராட்டத்தில் இணைந்து கொண்டார்.

28.06.2026 அன்று, CPI ML Liberation கட்சியின் மாணவர் சங்கத்தை (AISA) சேர்ந்த ஆறு மாணவர்களும் சோனமும் காலவரையற்ற உண்ணாவிரதப் போராட்டத்தை அறிவித்தனர்.

18.07.2026 அன்று சோனம் வாங்சுக் காவல்துறையினரால் மருத்துவமனைக்கு அழைத்து செல்லப்பட்டார். இப்போது, 'சோனம் வாங்சுக்கை விடுதலை செய்வது' உட்பட கோரிக்கைகள் மூன்றாக உயர்ந்தன.

20.07.2026 அன்று Sansad March நடைபெற்றது, அப்போது காவல்துறை போராட்டக்காரர்கள் மீது தாக்குதல் நடத்தியது. மதிய வேளையில் CJP பிரதிநிதிகள் ஒன்றிய அமைச்சர் ஜே.பி. நட்டாவை சந்தித்தபோது, அவர்களது கோரிக்கைகள் மூன்றாகவே இருந்தன.

22.07.2026 அன்று, சோனமை அவர் விரும்பும் மருத்துவமனைக்கு மாற்ற வேண்டும் என்ற டெல்லி உயர் நீதிமன்ற இரு நீதிபதிகள் அமர்வின் உத்தரவை தொடர்ந்து, அவர்கள் ஒரு கோரிக்கையை வாபஸ் பெற்று, மாணவர்களின் எதிர்காலத்திற்கு அவசியமான இரண்டு புதிய கோரிக்கைகளைச் சேர்த்தனர்.

'அமைதியான முறையில் போராடியவர்கள் மீது வழக்குப் பதிவு செய்யக் கூடாது.'

'வன்முறையில் ஈடுபட்ட அனைத்து காவல்துறை அதிகாரிகளும் தண்டிக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.'

தற்போது, CJP தரப்பிலிருந்து நான்கு கோரிக்கைகள் உள்ளன.

கல்வி அமைச்சரைப் பதவி விலக செய்ய அரசு எந்த நடவடிக்கையும் எடுக்கவில்லை என்றால், பிரதமரின் பதவி விலக CJP கோரும் என்கிறார் அபிஜீத். இதில் என்ன தவறு ?

ஒரு மாதத்திற்கும் மேலாக கடும் வெயிலிலும் மழையிலும் போராடும் மாணவர்களின் கோரிக்கைகளை கேட்கவில்லை என்றால், அவர்கள் வேறு என்ன செய்ய முடியும் ?

அப்புறம் நமக்கு சாதகமான ஆட்சி வந்தால் தான் பண்ண முடியும் என்று கூட சொல்ல முடியாது.

தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு நீட் விலக்கா ?
இந்தியா முழுவதும் நீட் தடையா ?

எது சாத்தியம் ? நீதிமன்றதிற்கு சென்றால் என்னவாகும் என்றெல்லாம் யோசிக்க வேண்டும்.

அதுவரை போராட்டமோ, ஒன்றிய அரசங்கத்திடம் பேச்சுவார்த்தையோ, சட்டமன்றத்தில் தீர்மானமோ, சட்டப் போராட்டமோ, சாதகமான ஆட்சி வந்தால் என்ன செய்வது என்று யோசித்து எதை வேண்டுமானாலும் செய்யலாம்.

The protests happening in Tamilnadu on behalf of CJP and claimed to be against NEET is going directionless and haywire.
Mocking chants against TVK, Vijay and Jananayagan release are being made for no reason, slogans are being read out in Hindi when the participants are Tamil. As usual parties like DMK and ADMK are celebrating this without knowing what it is.
The actual protests are happening in Delhi as called out by the organizers and they are also worried about many other fringe elements mixing up with actual students with hidden agendas. People will support the protests anywhere as long as it is students led and its against the irregularities of NEET. Any hidden political agendas are not going to be welcome anywhere.

எப்படி தமிழ்நாட்டில் சாலைகள் போராடுவதற்கான இடமில்லை என்று அமைச்சர் கூறுகிறாரோ அதேபோல் ராகுல் காந்தி போராடிய இடமும் போராடுவதற்கான இடமில்லை என்று ஒன்றிய அரசாங்கம் தரப்பில் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்கள்.

இப்போது என்ன செய்யலாம் சார் ?

அமைதியாக போராட மாணவர்கள் அனுமதி கேட்டால் கொடுக்கலாமே சார்.

Yes, of course, CM Vijay had already written to PM Modi seeking steps to ban NEET. In that letter, CM Vijay mentioned the NEET UG 2024 leaks citing despite a committee formed by the Union Government giving 95 recommendations for reforms within two years, another paper leak occurred regarding NEET.

This means that the Union Government either did not follow the recommendations or failed to make any reforms.

And the issue here is not only NEET UG 2026 but also JEE Mains irregularities over the years, CBSE 12th std OSM irregularities and CUET exam delay.

Regarding the third point, they wanted Union Education Minister to resign not only for the NEET UG 2026 leaks, but also for the de*%hs of 21 students and the above-mentioned issues. Because of this NEET UG 2026 exam issue, students from Tamil Nadu also committed su*&ide.

The CBI has not completed the case regarding NEET UG 2026. The Supreme Court asked the government for a status report on how the one-member probe committee is progressing regarding CBSE OSM irregularities.

When thousands of youngsters, especially students and aspirants, come and participate in this protest which is for a good cause, it is essential and responsibility to give solidarity support even if it is not going to solve the root problem.

Yes, we have to address the root cause of all these issues mentioned above, but the Union Education Minister must take accountability for all these issues and resign.

The actions of the officials against the students on Monday deserve condemnation across all parties that are advocating for democracy.

Why didn't #Vijay i.e. CM of TN support the
#JantarMantarprotest ?

#CMVijay had already written to the #PM seeking steps to ban #NEET as soon as he became Chief Minister. So, his stand against #NEET is already clear.

Now, coming to the #CJP protest, it has three demands:
1. Release #SonamWangchuk
2. Provide ₹1 crore compensation to the affected students' families.
3. Resignation of the Education Minister.

I agree with the first two demands. But I am skeptical about the third.

A paper leak occurred, investigations were conducted, those responsible were identified, and action was taken. The system is also being moved towards Computer-Based Tests with stronger encryption reduce such incidents.

If the demand was to #BanNEET because the system itself is flawed, we should support that. But demanding only a minister's resignation doesn't solve the root problem.

If #CMVijay supports this, it would set a dangerous precedent. Tomorrow, every issue could simply become a demand for a minister's resignation. Which is not justified !!!

Ministers can change. Unless the system is corrected, the same issue can happen again under someone else.

I'm not a blind supporter of #CJP. I have my own reservations.

So, when I myself have doubts, I understand why #CMVijay chose not to comment.

That said, the protest should never have turned violent. The ruling Central Government i.e. #BJP must take responsibility for that.
