A Rockstar developer spent TWO HOURS exploring GTA 6’s open world without reaching his intended story mission:

- An NPC deliberately rammed his car after a minor accident.
- Another NPC insulted him, leading to a violent confrontation.
- He robbed a store after finding its cash register unattended.
- He escaped the police and stole a valuable car to sell.
- He followed another vehicle and discovered a criminal compound.
- He stole goods from the compound, sold them to a fence and received another tip for a new opportunity.

All of this happened during a single unscripted open-world experience.

Grand Theft Auto VI Ray Tracing on consoles already looks extremely close to what Path Tracing would look like.

Those soft shadows and bounce lighting are so insanely good looking that it makes me wonder if these screenshots were actually captured on a base console
