Does that mean I can't play cheap guitars anymore? Not at all. The nice guitar helped me climb some walls, but I'm not above a Mexi-Mustang and now I'm a better player when someone hands one to me.
Common wisdom is that a more expensive guitar will not make you a better player. This is, by and large, true.
But luxury features and better pickups absolutely will allow you to play your guitar more comfortably for longer, making you a better player.
I've been playing since 1991ish and I've come farther in 7 months on a Jazzmaster with rolled fingerboard edges and satin neck than I ever did on the bare bones budget Strats I had back in the day.
@S1lence_Dogood@urrfavonce_ What if you were Canadian and people kept calling you "Nickelback"? Its not a slur, but it for sure should hurt your feelings.
@kanilros Yeah :/ I want that JM sound and circuit. The Root model would be fine except it's
- overpriced as hell
-no tone control
-no rhythm circuit
which is all really dumb. Plus I hate the color options.
@Snack_Memories Sure hope they make it way too sweet for no reason and end up discontinuing it.
How hard is it to follow the Cherry Coke recipe and not make it overbearing?
