Beed’s Dream on Tracks: A New Era of Connectivity and Development

Inaugurated the new railway line from Amalner (B) to Beed and flagged off the Beed to Ahilyanagar train at Beed today.

This historic moment has fulfilled a decades-old dream of having a railway line of their own for the people of Beed. Loknete Gopinathrao Munde ji and former MP Kesharkaku Kshirsagar ji had envisioned this railway line. Loknete Gopinathrao Munde Ji, in particular, undertook immense efforts to fulfill the dream of bringing a railway to Beed. Today, his dream has come true, and this railway stands as a heartfelt tribute to Loknete Gopinathrao Munde ji .

In spite of challenges like land acquisition and funding hurdles the project was completed through collective determination, with the contribution of leaders, officials, and the Railway Sangharsh Samiti making this day possible.

September 17 adds historic significance, it is Marathwada Liberation Day and also the birthday of Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji, under whose leadership Marathwada has received a record investment of ₹21,000 crore in the last decade, compared to just ₹450 crore in the preceding decade. This commitment has turned dreams into achievements.

This railway is more than just transport; it is a vehicle of development. Where tracks are laid, industries grow, trade prospers, and opportunities multiply. For Beed, today’s inauguration is a promise of prosperity and the foundation of a brighter tomorrow for Marathwada.
