@United24media @netflix That this show "incorporates pro-Kremlin, militaristic propaganda aimed at children" is utter rubbish. In fact it's been under fire from Mizulina & Co for corrupting young minds. A borderguard's hat is a bone thrown to the Kremlin dogs. They'll be shut down or taken over.

@ryanmauro Worry not, Sir. I've watched nearly every single episode of Masha and the Bear (my son is 4), and you won't find a critic more watchful. Until 2-3 years ago at any rate, this show was 100% free of Kremlinoid bestality - in fact, Misulina & Co. had "raised questions" about it.

@Microinteracti1 I wonder if you've come across Umberto Eco's book on America, "Travels in Hyperreality." It came out in the 70s, I think, yet touches on all this in a very prescient way.
