The one-crore signatures campaign launched by the YSR Congress Party against the privatisation of medical colleges has become a historic and resounding success. The massive rallies with the display of the signatures held in all 26 district headquarters stand as clear proof of how strongly people have rejected the governance and the policies of the TDP-led coalition government under Chandrababu Naidu. This is not merely a campaign against privatisation, but a powerful people’s verdict against Chandrababu Naidu's anti-people policies. More than one crore citizens have voluntarily come forward and signed these petitions, clearly rejecting his decisions and his betrayal of public interest.

People from every section of society willingly participated and put their names to this movement, driven by the fear that Chandrababu Naidu’s decisions will destroy affordable medical education and affordable public healthcare. The signed representations are now being brought to the YSRCP Central Office at Tadepalli. From there, all the one-crore petitions will be formally submitted to the Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh on December 18, ensuring that the collective voice of the people reaches the highest constitutional authority in the state and thereafter these submissions will reach the doors of the courts.

I sincerely thank every YSRCP leaders, party cadre, volunteers, and every citizen who voluntarily signed these petitions and stood firmly against this injustice. Your participation has laid bare the coalition government’s plan to hand over public assets to private interests.

This movement is a strong public response against @ncbn ’s governance. One crore people have opposed him, his decisions, and his attempt to sell government medical colleges built with public money. I strongly demand that Chandrababu Naidu immediately roll back his reckless decision to privatise these government medical colleges and put an end to this daylight robbery of public healthcare and medical education depriving the people of affordable public health.

ప్రభుత్వ వైద్య కళాశాలల ప్రైవేటీకరణకు వ్యతిరేకంగా వైయస్సార్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ప్రారంభించిన ఒక కోటి సంతకాల ఉద్యమం అత్యంత విజయవంతమైంది. చరిత్రాత్మకంగా నిలిచింది. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా 26 జిల్లా కేంద్రాల్లో నిర్వహించిన భారీ ర్యాలీలు, అందులో ప్రజల సంతకాల ప్రదర్శన ఇవన్నీ చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు నేతృత్వంలోని టీడీపీ కూటమి ప్రభుత్వ పాలనను, విధానాలను ప్రజలు ఎంత తీవ్రంగా వ్యతిరేకిస్తున్నారో స్పష్టంగా చాటుతున్నాయి. ఇది కేవలం ప్రభుత్వ వైద్య కళాశాలల ప్రైవేటీకరణకు వ్యతిరేకంగా చేసిన ఉద్యమం మాత్రమే కాదు; చంద్రబాబు నాయుడుగారి ప్రజావ్యతిరేక విధానాలపై ప్రజలు ఇచ్చిన ఘనమైన తీర్పు. ప్రజా���్రయోజనాలను ఫణంగా పెడుతూ, వారికి ద్రోహం చేస్తూ ఆయన తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయాలను ఖండిస్తూ, ఒక కోటికి పైగా పౌరులు స్వచ్ఛందంగా ముందుకు వచ్చి సంతకాలు చేశారు.

సమాజంలోని అన్ని వర్గాల ప్రజలు ఈ ఉద్యమంలో పాల్గొని సంతకాలు చేశారు. ప్రభుత్వ వైద్య కళాశాలల ప్రైవేటీకరణ ద్వారా అందుబాటులో ఉన్న వైద్య విద్యను, ప్రజారోగ్య వ్యవస్థను నాశనం చేస్తారనే ప్రజల ఆందోళనే ఈ ఉద్యమానికి ప్రధాన ప్రేరణగా నిలిచింది. సేకరించిన ఒక కోటి సంతకాల పత్రాలు ప్రస్తుతం తాడేపల్లిలోని వైయస్సార్‌సీపీ కేంద్ర కార్యాలయానికి చేరుతున్నాయి. అక్కడి నుంచి డిసెంబర్‌ 18న గౌరవ గవర్నర్‌గారికి అధికారికంగా సమర్పిస్తాం. తద్వారా ప్రజల గొంతు రాష్ట్రంలోని అత్యున్నత రాజ్యాంగాధికారికి చేరి, అనంతరం అది న్యాయస్థానాల తలుపులు తడుతుంది.

ఈ ఉద్యమానికి అండగా నిలిచిన ప్రతి వైయస్సా���్‌సీపీ నాయకుడు, పార్టీ కార్యకర్తలు, అలాగే స్వచ్ఛందంగా సంతకాలు చేసిన ప్రతి పౌరుడికి నా హృదయపూర్వక కృతజ్ఞతలు. ఉద్యమంలో మీ భాగస్వామ్యం ద్వారా ప్రజా ఆస్తులను ప్రైవేట్‌కు అప్పగించాలన్న కూటమి ప్రభుత్వ కుట్ర బట్టబయలైంది.

ఈ ఉద్యమం ద్వారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు పాలనపై ప్రజలు తమ ఆగ్రహాన్ని తెలియజేశారు. ప్రజల సొమ్ముతో నిర్మించిన ప్రభుత్వ వైద్య కళాశాలలను అమ్మేయాలన్న ఆయన ప్రయత్నాన్ని, ఆయన నిర్ణయాలను, ఆయన పాలనను ఒక కోటి మంది ప్రజలు తిరస్కరించారు. ప్రభుత్వ వైద్య కళాశాలల ప్రైవేటీకరణపై తీసుకున్న ఈ ప్రజ��వ్యతిరేక నిర్ణయాన్ని చంద్రబాబు నాయుడుగారు తక్షణమే వెనక్కి తీసుకోవాలని గట్టిగా డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నాను. ప్రజారోగ్య వ్యవస్థను, అందుబాటులో ఉన్న వైద్య విద్యను దోచుకునే ఈ పట్టపగలు దోపిడీకి వెంటనే తెరపడాలి.

𝗧𝗗𝗣 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁’𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱!

Yesterday, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu released the advance estimates for the GSDP during the first half of this financial year 2025-26. As correctly pointed out by @ncbn Garu, the Government prepared the figures under his guidance, ‘ to deceive’. As is evident, Government can cook up figures pertaining to advance estimates of GSDP but cannot fudge State Government accounts audited by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.

The fiscal performance can be ascertained from the State accounts figures released by the CAG. These accounts are not prepared under the advice of Mr. Chandrababu Naidu and they are indeed a compilation of the actual receipts and expenditure of the State Government. The economic reality as conveyed by the accounts for the first half of this financial year released by the CAG is that, the State is suffering from abysmally low growth in State Government’s revenues, unprecedented levels of State Government borrowings, worryingly low capital expenditure, low levels of consumption and investment in the economy, alarming levels of revenue and fiscal deficits. It is also apparent that the State Government revenues are being plundered owing to rampant corruption

When this is the factual position, the TDP alliance Government attempts to deceive the people into believing that the State’s economy is booming.

I would like to remind Mr. Chandrababu Naidu of the words of the great Abraham Lincoln, “You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time but you cannot fool all the people all the time”.

Can Mr. Chandrababu Naidu answer the following,

- If the State’s economy indeed flourishing, then why is your Government facing this level of fiscal stress?
- If the GSDP growth during the 5 year period of your Government between 2014-19 was so commendable then why is the State’s contribution to National GDP only 4.45% as against the corresponding figure of 4.78% during 2019-24?
- If the State’s economy did perform so admirably during the TDP regime 2014-19, then why has the State’s rank in per-capita income not improved by even one notch during your regime?

I request everyone to go through the attached slides that expose the truth behind Mr. Chandrababu Naidu’s claims about his performance and allegations about the State’s performance during the YSRCP Government (2019-24).

In Lok Sabha today, participated in the discussion on the Central Excise Amendment Bill 2025. While supporting taxation on tobacco products considering public health, questioned the central government about the technical loopholes in the law's implementation which includes Cigarette length fraud, Machine-made Beedis, Illegal cross-border transport of tobacco products across states. Also, noted that the bill helps protect government revenue while controlling harmful tobacco products for public health. At the same time, demanded immediate compensation and crop insurance payouts for farmers in Andhra Pradesh who suffered losses due to recent storms.

Met Hon’ble Railway Minister Shri @AshwiniVaishnaw Ji along with RS MP & Railway Standing Committee Member Shri Meda Raghunadha Reddy garu. @YSRCParty Lok Sabha Floor Leader Shri @MithunReddyYSRC also endorsed our request. We strongly appealed for the long pending Balaji Railway Division with Tirupati as headquarters, highlighting administrative delays caused by the current multi division system, and the urgent need to strengthen railway services for India’s busiest pilgrimage city.

We also urged approval for the Foot Over Bridge at Tirupati West Station, and another FOB with ramp at Puttur Yard (KM 111/800–900) to resolve severe commuter hardships. Further, we requested stoppages for key express trains at Naidupeta and Vendodu as per public demand, and restoration of essential passenger services. We appealed to the Minister to take prompt action in the interest of lakhs of passengers in the Tirupati region.
