#CCGLive: Together with our partners, we are responding to a capsized fishing vessel at Napier Point, 3 KM south of Bella Bella #BritishColumbia. We rescued the 4 uninjured fishermen.

Recently, 25 participants including our crew, Snuneymuxv Guardians, various @RCM_SARmembers, and members of the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre took part in a day-long #SearchAndRescue training in French Creek, #BritishColumbia.

Last week, our #PrinceRupert Marine Communications and Traffic Services (MCTS) centre was crewed by a team of 5 women for the first time. These MCTS officers ensured mariner safety and the efficient movement of vessel traffic—no small feat, but all in a day’s work for this team!

News from #BritishColumbia: Together with our partners, we’ll be conducting a shoreline cleaning operation in #Vancouver’s #FalseCreek today. An oily sheen remains visible on the shoreline of Alder Bay from an unknown source spill in early December.
