@chflorelius Nope. The KMT wouldn't have conducted the level of land reforms as the Chinese communist. People keep making that mistake. They also wouldn't have sovereignty and independence they have today.
@LuckyLombardo1@martian_lore Yes. However, the KMT was initially a big tent party that hosted different ideologies within it. Under Chiang-Kai Shek it took a different turn, it became anti-communist, while Sun Yat-sen was at least sympathetic to socialism.
@martian_lore And what's happening to Taiwan now? The issues they're facing was due to not undergoing the major land reforms like the Mainland. KMT politicians like Chiang Ching-kuo were trained in the Soviet Union and that's the guy who built up Taiwan, lol.
@Crimewaaave@Lavader_ In classical or orthodox Marxism, it's believed that nationalism divides the class struggle globally. Although Marx and Engels became sympathetic with the Irish struggle under the British. But under Marxism-Leninism, nationalism and internationalism share the same paradox.
@Crimewaaave@Lavader_ It's more of an impetus for communism to fall on its own to prove the failure, but that wasn't the case, if the sanctions wouldn't be needed. China has a socialist market economy, but still engages in five year plans & central planning of the Soviet model. DPRK is still communist
Lol, Ukranian Nazis played a big part in running their country to the ground, which started by shelling Eastern Ukraine, but "how dare a socialist or communist, wants to better their country?!" You guys are literal slaves of Palantir and other tech oligarchies.
@Borealian1839 Lol, Ukranian Nazis played a big part in running their country to the ground, which started by shelling Eastern Ukraine, but "how dare a socialist or communist, wants to better their country?!" You guys are literal slaves of Palantir and other tech oligarchies.
@Crimewaaave@Lavader_ There are 5 communist/ML states (DPRK, China, Vietnam, Laos & Cuba) that exist today (with admittedly one on its knees due to the embargo, Cuba). While fascist states Germany and italy rammed themselves into the ground, stuck in the dirt. Well, you got Ukraine and India lol.
@stonemangiant@Hoppeism Capitalism is more violent, it killed 1.6 billion people. Most of the deaths associated with communism was in regards to famines, but also communist/socialist states formed from the back of wars (imposed by your capitalist countries along with sanctions and embargoes).
@Radtadpole@NKVDnwo@RTSG_Main Well by that logic, communism shouldn't be a threat, but then the US government (who controls the most powerful empire in this world) and those like you who fall for mainstream (and the sloppy lies of the US government) are afraid of communism lol.
