SB 14 is the wrong policy approach. Trafficking is already a crime that is punishable by as much as 15 years to life.

Human trafficking victims & survivors are currently criminalized & prosecuted under proposals like this one. One of the lead witnesses for SB 14 even referred to trafficking victims as “victim-offenders.”
