I am strongly of the opinion TJ Friedl needs to go and call up Hector Rodriguez if we want a shot at competing. I'd put Noelvi in center and not have second thoughts
@Nati_Sports I wouldn't worry too much. Abbott seems like exactly the type of pitcher to me who would look bad in spring but lock in when season starts
@cmay13x UMASS is actually deceptively good compared to their record. Haven't lost a game by more than 10 points, and Leonardo Bettiol on their team is very good. They also have a solid coach. Better than you'd think due to their record
@PerkinsPenguins@JonRothstein Not true. Miami University (OH) was founded in 1809.
University of Miami (FL) was founded in 1925.
Miami (OH) existed well over 100 years earlier
I know this isn't Reds content, but I just get tired of the Dodgers getting aggressively defended by so many, even non-fans, in articles for instance. They are ruining baseball, end of story...
👀
Called it a month ago. Dodgers win it all.
Now I’m calling the 3-peat.
And if MLB lets that happen?
The salary cap debate won’t be optional: it’ll be a full-blown crisis.
I haven’t even watched this game. Just saw the score a minute ago.
And honestly? I see exactly where this is heading.
The Dodgers aren’t just beating the Reds: they’re steamrolling toward a repeat. Back-to-back World Series titles.
Next year, Andrew Abbott has to be the Reds’ #2 behind Greene.
- He’s already been an All-Star.
- He doesn't get injured like ever, he's a reliable workhorse
- And he just feels like the guy who won’t shrink under October pressure.

@JKDodgers@Schizziee2@ChrisSchwarzy I could make a list of about 15 teams that could never afford that: Pirates, White Sox, Marlins, Twins, Royals, I mean the list goes on...
When the problem is that league WIDE ownership is not the problem
@JKDodgers@Schizziee2@ChrisSchwarzy The point is it's not just Ohtani. No player looking for that salary can find it in the Reds organization, the Rockies organization, the A's organization. Hell even the Brewers. So it's not just the Reds, and it's not just on ownership
