Watched the last day of the golf in the Swiss mountains. Three-months pro Ludvig Aberg was sensational. Never heard of him before last week, but he has an amazing swing and a calm confidence. No surprise he was a pick for the Ryder Cup.

Upset CSA did NOT schedule Kingsmead for the Boxing Day test v India. 2023 is the centenary year of test cricket at the ground and Durban has the biggest diaspora of Indians in the world. Plus the fact that we played our first test there after isolation. Great opportunity lost.

Starc was dozy (Mike Atherton's word to describe Bairstow's runout) in first catching the ball legitimately and then allowing it to rub along the turf afterwards.
