Backrooms movie was peak. It was genuinely a brilliant showcase of ambiance and tension building, and is a perfect showcase of what horror should be. But I’ll admit I was soying the fuck out about the references and yellow walls and le fluorescent light buzz. Masterpiece.

@talispmanic@jessedowo Incorrect. There are mechanics more complex than the ones I’ve listed that can be traced to one game, and now are commonplace or even staples. I simply didn’t think of a specific one to list, but this phenomenon is real
@IsagiNationsCeo I think this is the best place to vocalize this: it feels as if the ferocity around black characters and their depictions in media has backfired to a point where people are so sensitive about features that imply “stereotype” that it loops back around to hurting the movement
