🇮🇳🤝🇳🇵 9th India–Nepal Annual Coordination Meeting concludes in New Delhi!

#SSB and #APF reviewed cooperation along the #IndoNepalBorder, focusing on information sharing, joint action against trans-border crimes, checking illegal entry by third-country nationals, management of No Man’s Land and repair & maintenance of boundary pillars.

The Indian delegation, led by #DGSSB Shri Sanjay Singhal, IPS, and the Nepali delegation, led by IG #APF Shri Raju Aryal, including other senior officials from MHA, MEA, Indian Embassy in Nepal, MoHA Nepal, MoFA Nepal, Nepal Police, NID Nepal, Armed Police Force, Nepal and the Embassy of Nepal.

Both sides agreed to enhance coordinated patrols, disaster management exercises, training and capacity-building of officers.

The Nepali delegation also called on Union Home Secretary Shri Govind Mohan, IAS.
The meeting concluded in a warm atmosphere, reflecting strong commitment to peace, security & mutual trust.
Nepal will host the 10th Meeting in 2026.

On Day 4 of her visit to FTR Tezpur,
Dr. Anupama Nilekar Chandra, IPS, #SDGSSB, visited 73 Bn SSB, Shergaon, Arunachal Pradesh.

During the visit, she reviewed the security scenario, challenges, operational preparedness etc. She inspected the campus area, interacted with officers and jawans and heard their grievances and informed them about the welfare initiatives.
