After they ban abortion, trans kids, drag performers, birth control, LGBTQ people, then what? You think they'll stop? Nope. They'll have to create a new battle in the culture war to keep their jobs and raise $$. Will it be working women? Jews? Mormons? Are you next on the list?
@ExaltedCDarwin This might be the most ignorant comment I've seen yet on this topic. Have you ever actually met a queer person? Truly listened to their story? I think if you had you wouldn't spout off such reductive and ignorant bullshit, but maybe you're just an asshole.
and those who don't have the option to leave and throw themselves instead into making the state a better version of itself. It was time for me to leave, but so much love to the many excellent people back home fighting the good fight.
Hi Twitterverse. I haven't been on here in a while and there have been some changes. I no longer live in Idaho. We'd been thinking about leaving for a while and when the opportunity came to move to the Bay Area earlier this year we took it. π§΅
I love Boise and I miss it, but living in Idaho was taking a toll on my mental health, and had been for years. I recognize that a lot of privilege goes into being able to pack up and move to a friendlier state. I commend those who stay and fight to reclaim ID from the extremists,
Let's be clear: This is a draft opinion. Itβs outrageous, itβs unprecedented, but it is not final.
Abortion is your right β and it is STILL LEGAL. https://t.co/s9R7w99n71
As a queer person in a committed queer relationship, I give 0 fucks about straight ppl using partner. Other queer folks, why is this a thing? Let ppl define their relationships however they want for chrissakes.
I 100% get why itβs cringy for straight couples to say partner but can we have something else? Iβm so old. So so old for boyfriend. Butler? Can I say this is my long term butler?
News flash: If you outlaw abortions, stop people from voting, ban discussions of sexual orientation and gender identity in classrooms, and criminalize providing gender affirming care for trans youth, you're not the party of "limited government."
I have emailed Sen. Lodge before on a wide variety of issues, but my emails have alwaya been civil and respectful. I can't think of any good reason why she may have blocked me.
I just tried to email the Senate State Affairs committee about #HB675 and got this error message from Patti Anne Lodge's email address. Apparently she's blocking email addresses now? Keeping it classy #idleg. #idpol
