January 14th the greed index hit resistance, we received RSI confirmation on direction for BTCUSD on the 18th, and by Feb 5th we hit the local bottom.
March 15th the greed index hit resistance, we received RSI confirmation on direction for BTCUSD on the 19th, and ….
@WyckoffOnCrypto At its core, Wyckoff reveals the market mechanics behind participant psychology—it’s the 'why' that connects price to volume. Being primarily a trend-following position trader, I find it to be an invaluable confirmation layer in the arsenal.
@JesseOlson@marketsniperpro Different lens, but whether $78K or $84K tomorrow, neither invalidate the bear market thesis. Also, this crypto bear market’s greed is almost overbought (trend line resistance).
Most of Bitcoin’s trajectory is mathematics. Narratives tied to the PA are generally noise.
US Dollar – A Contrarian View
Despite the bearish sentiment of recent years, the US dollar has found support. Rising geopolitical tensions could act as a perfect catalyst for a rally. Strength in the dollar could, in turn, trigger further selling in gold.
Expectations for Cycle 5
BTCUSD lows between mid Sept 26 to mid Nov 26 likely early to mid Oct.
72.4% to 76.7% drop from recent ATH, approx. $29,407 to $34,782.
@MerlijnTrader After anger comes despair and then hopelessness and at least a month or two of price ranging at the bottom. I don’t expect that we’ll see a quick spike up as a reversal.
@cryptofergani I appreciate this since we need the last remaining bulls still engaged for a few more weeks, but by the end of the year this forecasting method will be debunked.
@yenicherry80@TechCharts Frankly a mix of PA training and Wyckoff would do good here. From lows there were two jumps over the creek with buy volume. Recent chop near resistance would indicate low probability of breakout/more support discovery is needed. Sell vol spikes as longs cover. More chop expected.
@CryptoCraeg@muneeb@Stacks Yikes. Algorand did a similar thing (product first, users second — instead of simultaneously) and flopped. Fantastic product but no one used it… I get that Stacks is an L2 for Bitcoin (BTC isn’t going anywhere) but that comment shot up red flags based on my experience.
Maybe the most interesting thing about the last two trading days is that the downside was predictable based on lunar calendar cycles. The next big move could come at the end of August, specifically around the 30th through that weekend. Time will tell.
