New York Democrats have declared WAR ON THE AMISH. Thanks to their unconstitutional attack on religion, they're now able to fine EACH unvaccinated Amish child $2,000 EVERY SINGLE DAY.
⠀
The $118,000 bill is one day, not the cap. Three one-room schools alone already owe that much for 59 children, at $2,000 each.
⠀
Health Commissioner Mary Bassett imposed it on December 15, 2022. She called the sum conservative because it assumed only one day out of compliance.
⠀
Dygert Road was billed $52,000 for 26 children. Pleasant View was billed $46,000 for 23.
⠀
Shady Lane was billed $20,000 for 10.
⠀
Footnote 9 of the Second Circuit opinion records the state's view. Each day an unvaccinated student attends is a fresh violation and a fresh $2,000 fine.
⠀
Another day for those 59 children is another $118,000. A 180-day year at that rate is about $21 million, and the families say they cannot pay the first bill.
⠀
Joseph Miller, Jonas Smucker, and Ezra Wengerd run the schools. The schools sit in Clymer and Heuvelton, plus the Canajoharie settlement, and take no public money.
⠀
They had a religious exemption for decades. On June 13, 2019, Democrats repealed it after measles spread through Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn and Rockland County.
⠀
Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the bill. Governor Kathy Hochul left it in force.
⠀
A parent may not excuse a child for faith.
⠀
Senator James Skoufis said the exemption was made up and fake. Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz called it utter garbage.
⠀
Counsel Aaron Siri told the New York Post the families can pay only if the state takes their land. Some in the community have talked of leaving the state.
⠀
The case is Miller versus McDonald. The Second Circuit ruled against them on June 30 in 2026.
⠀
A Supreme Court petition was due around September 28.
Make sure EVERYONE sees this. If WE don't stand up for these incredible men and women - WHO WILL?!?!?!
⠀
Where is the “my body my choice crowd now”?
Glad to report that because of my veto of massive bonding authority for a new prison, we are putting an additional $250 million towards the accelerated repayment of state debt.
We will now have retired ~54% of the state’s total taxpayer-supported debt during my time in office!
After four decades of the climate transition toward Net Zero, reliable, energy-dense hydrocarbon fuels still provide 81% of the world's primary energy.
Coal and gas power remain the essential backup when renewables fail. Heavy and often dangerous lithium batteries cannot match the energy density, range, and fast refueling under heavy load of the internal combustion engine—the very technology that liberated humanity from horse-drawn transport.
Yet despite this vast industrial effort, the energy produced by wind and solar is really only suited to keeping the lights on. It lacks the dense, high-temperature power essential for heavy manufacturing, ocean-going freight, aviation, or sustaining the global transport network.
It looks less like an energy evolution and more like a deliberate strategy to drive modern Western economies to their knees.
So-called 'renewable energy' is largely incompatible with existing power grids. Major institutions, such as BloombergNEF, estimate global grid expansion and reinforcement costs through 2050 will reach $21 trillion just to accommodate electrification and variable renewable generation.
Lumbering wind turbines and their slowly turning blades simply masquerade as clean, green power. They are not the answer. Great phalanxes of glistening solar panels now fill the vaults of nature, swallowing farmland and hillsides—yet their output fades the moment it rains, turns dark, or gathers dust.
With roughly 2.3 million turbine towers and 9 billion solar panels deployed worldwide, this colossal overbuild of metal structures is draining global mineral and mining resources.
The overwhelming majority of this hardware is manufactured in China, which controls up to 90% of global turbine, solar panel, and component supply chains. Yet Beijing has built its own industrial dominance on cheap coal power, continuing to construct new coal-fired plants at a pace of up to two per week.
The irony is stark: Western nations are systematically dismantling their own hydrocarbon wealth, sinking into economic turmoil while handing manufacturing hegemony to an adversary. Who is really winning?
For forty years, an agenda driven by false haste, urgency, and fear has been spearheaded by United Nations-led initiatives—pushing globalist oversight and unprecedented centralised control.
This has driven the staggeringly costly proliferation of weather-dependent infrastructure in a futile attempt to capture the low-density energy of sunlight and wind.
JOHN CLAUSER, 2022 PHYSICS NOBEL PRIZE WINNER:
"I can very confidently assert, there is no climate emergency.
As much as it may upset many people, my message is the planet is NOT in peril.
Atmospheric CO2 and methane have negligible effect on the climate.
The policies government have been implementing are totally unnecessary and should be eliminated.
So far, [we] have totally misidentified what is the dominant process in controlling the climate, and all of the various models are based on incomplete and incorrect physics.
The dominant process, is “the cloud-sunlight-reflexivity thermostat mechanism.
Clouds are all bright white, and they reflected 90% of the sunlight back into space making them the most crucial yet most overlooked aspect of the climate system.
Two-thirds of the Earth are ocean. The Pacific Ocean alone is half the Earth. The average cloud cover for the Earth is 67%; about 50% over land and 75% over oceans.
I claim that the above conspicuous properties of clouds are the missing part of the puzzle."
Why we KNOW fossil fuels played a completely negligible role in the rise of atmospheric CO₂
in plain English
1. Carbon has a fingerprint.
Carbon atoms come in two stable kinds. One is a little heavier than the other. Every source of carbon on Earth has its own mix of heavy and light atoms, and scientists measure that mix as a single number. Think of it as a fingerprint. Coal, oil, and gas have a fingerprint of minus 28. Carbon dioxide bubbling out of the ocean has a fingerprint of minus 8. Volcanoes are minus 5. Dissolving limestone is 0. A lower number means lighter carbon. These fingerprints are measured facts, and the IPCC uses the same numbers.
2. You can read the fingerprint of whatever is being added to the air.
When carbon is added to the atmosphere, the atmosphere's fingerprint drifts toward the fingerprint of what was added. In 1958 Charles Keeling showed a simple way to read off the fingerprint of the added carbon directly from the air measurements. It is a graph. Plot the air's fingerprint against the amount of CO₂ in the air in a certain way and you get a straight line. Where that line meets the edge of the graph is the fingerprint of the net addition. This is not a computer model. It is bookkeeping. You count the heavy atoms, you count the light atoms, and the answer follows. Nothing about oceans, forests, or weather goes into it.
3. The fingerprint of the added carbon is minus 13.
Koutsoyiannis (2024) did this with the four Scripps monitoring stations in Alaska, California, Hawaii, and the South Pole, using records from about 1978 to today. Every station gives the same answer: minus 13.2, give or take 0.2. These are the same records the IPCC relies on. Two completely separate measurements say the same thing. A Caribbean sponge that grows in yearly layers, like tree rings, records ocean carbon back to about the year 1500. Its fingerprint is about minus 13 for all five centuries, with no drift. Air trapped in Antarctic ice at Law Dome, analyzed by Köhler et al. (2006), also gives minus 13. Three different materials, three different laboratories, five hundred years, one number.
4. Simple mixing math sets the range from the modern data alone.
Every carbon atom added to the air came either from fossil-fuel combustion or from some non-fossil-fuel source: the ocean, volcanoes, rock weathering, plants and soil. The fingerprint of the mix tells you how much came from each. It works like mixing paint. If you mix black and white and get a very light gray, you know there was very little black. Fossil-fuel carbon is the black, at minus 28. The ocean is the white, at minus 8. The measured mix is minus 13, much closer to the ocean than to fossil fuel.
The modern record from 1978 to today does not by itself pin down the exact fingerprint of the non-fossil-fuel carbon. It could be anywhere from minus 8 (pure ocean) down to minus 13 (matching the mix exactly). Run the mixing math across that whole range and the fossil-fuel share comes out somewhere between zero and 26 percent. That is what we know from the modern data alone: not more than 26 percent, possibly zero. The exact answer comes in step 6.
5. The official claim is impossible under any assumption.
The IPCC, NASA, NOAA, EPA, and Engelbeen, Hannon, and Burton (2024) say fossil-fuel combustion caused essentially all of the rise. That is close to 100 percent. "Dominant" by any normal meaning is at least 80 percent. Run the mixing math backwards and ask what the non-fossil-fuel carbon would have to look like for each of those claims to be true:
- For fossil fuel to be even a bare 50 percent, the non-fossil-fuel carbon would need a fingerprint of plus 1.6. No carbon source on Earth is that heavy.
- For 80 percent, it would need a fingerprint of plus 46. That is more than 20 times heavier than the heaviest source that exists.
- For 90 percent, it would need plus 120, about 60 times heavier than anything on Earth.
- For 100 percent, it would need to be infinitely heavy.
The official claims do not fall a little short. They require carbon sources that do not exist.
6. Five hundred years of no change gives the exact answer: essentially ZERO (0% fossil-fuel sources).
The modern data left one unknown: the fingerprint of the non-fossil-fuel carbon. The sponge and ice-core records supply it. In the year 1500 there was essentially no fossil-fuel burning, so the fingerprint of the added carbon then, minus 13, came entirely from non-fossil-fuel sources. That fixes the unknown at minus 13. Since 1500, fossil-fuel burning has grown about ten thousand times over. If fossil-fuel carbon were any real part of the added carbon, the fingerprint would have slid toward minus 28 as burning grew. It did not move. It is still minus 13 today. Put minus 13 for the non-fossil-fuel carbon and minus 13.2 for the modern mix into the mixing math and fossil fuel's share of the added carbon comes out at about 1 percent, which is zero within the measurement error. The range of zero to 26 percent from step 4 collapses to a single answer: essentially zero.
7. Why this is knowledge, not opinion.
The conclusion rests on three things only:
- counting atoms,
- the standard measured fingerprints of fossil-fuel carbon and the other sources, and
- the Scripps, sponge, and ice-core records.
The IPCC uses all three. Anyone who accepts all three and rejects the conclusion is refusing to do arithmetic. The only way out is to throw away one of the three, and each one is a foundation of the IPCC's own work, and nobody has done so anywhere in the peer-reviewed literature.
8. What is actually happening.
Burning fossil fuel does put CO₂ into the air. That is measured at the smokestack. But a CO₂ molecule stays in the air only about four years on average before the ocean or plants take it back. So fossil-fuel CO₂ never piles up. Add up all fossil-fuel emissions since 1850 with that four-year turnover and only about 4 percent of the carbon in today's air came from fossil fuel. The growth in atmospheric CO₂ since the industrial revolution came from non-fossil-fuel sources.
Fossil fuel's share of that growth is essentially zero.
1931: Otto Warburg takes the Nobel for his work on how cells breathe. The observation he is better remembered for is simpler and stranger. Tumours ferment sugar. They do it greedily, they do it wastefully, and they do it with plenty of oxygen available, which no sensible cell bothers with.
If a tumour runs that hot on glucose, the obvious next question is what happens when you take the glucose away and run the patient on ketones instead. Healthy tissue has that gear. Warburg spent the rest of his life insisting the fermentation was the centre of the disease, and died in 1970 with nobody having run the trial.
Chemotherapy arrived, and chemotherapy had a feature the diet did not: a molecule you can own. You cannot file a patent on an empty plate. So the money went where the money could come back, which is not a conspiracy, it is an accounting decision made a thousand times over by people who never once said it out loud.
Thomas Seyfried at Boston College spent a career dragging the metabolic theory back up the beach and published Cancer as a Metabolic Disease in 2012. It is thorough, it is unanswered, and it is not on the syllabus.
Ninety-five years after the Nobel, the metabolic trials are still small, still scraping for funding, still described as preliminary.
Meanwhile the hospital trolley comes round the oncology ward carrying sandwiches, biscuits, fruit juice and a jelly, and this is filed under supportive care.
Climate Science Is All Lies
The only "science" where nearly every load-bearing claim is false, and most refer to things that do not even exist. And most "climate scientists" are captured in the morass of lies, trained to believe every one of them.

Every headline.
Every policy.
Every tax.
Every mandate.
Trillions extracted. On nothing real.
There is no science here.
Only a discipline built to propagate lies.
And this was just a short list of the TOTAL LIES.
In 1954, scientists told Congress the Arctic would melt within 25 to 50 years.
Then 20 years later, in 1974, Time magazine warned we were heading for another ice age.
By the 1990s, when that didn't happen, warming was the returning scare, with Norway's top expert saying the Arctic would be ice-free by 2007. The Centre for Biological Diversity said it would be ice-free by 2012. The BBC said by 2013. Needless to say, they were all wrong. The Arctic sea ice minimum has actually been stable for the past 18 years now.
In 2008, NASA's James Hansen predicted lower Manhattan would be underwater by 2018 due to the burning of fossil fuels.
Back in 1923, scientists claimed Glacier National Park would melt by 1950. Then in 2006, Al Gore said it would be gone by 2020. Yet today, the glaciers are still there, about the same size they were 35 years ago.
Decade after decade, the doomsday dates change. But the climate alarmist script persists.
Since April 2020, the United States has spent $1.5 trillion on wind and solar.
All that money for just 17% of the nation's energy mix.
For the same cost, America could have built around 40 nuclear power plants. They'd run for 80 years, not 15 or 20 like wind and solar, and would generate at least three times more power each year.
That's the real cost of believing the climate fantasy: enormous waste, destabilized grids, and spiraling energy costs.
Every decade of the last century had a consensus that killed people, and a name for whoever disagreed.

My car battery died in a grocery store parking lot at 8:00 PM.
I was standing there staring into the hood like a man trying to read a broken clock.
A faded pickup truck pulled up. A guy in grease-stained overalls stepped out, took one look at my open hood, and nodded once without asking a single question.
He reached into his truck bed and pulled out a pair of jumper cables so absurdly thick they looked like python snakes.
He clipped red to red, black to black, gave my engine a small, reassuring tap, and said, "Turn it over, brother."
It roared to life on the first try.
I pulled out a twenty-dollar bill and offered it to him.
He looked at the money, then at me with gentle confusion, as if I had just offered to buy his favorite hat.
"I don't want your cash, man," he said, wrapping the heavy cables around his arm. "Buy your own set and keep them in the trunk. Someday it's your turn."
That night, I went to Walmart and bought a set of cables so thick they take up a third of my trunk.
Last Thursday, a young driver was standing helplessly near a dead car outside a gas station.
I pulled up, rolled down my window, and didn't even ask what was wrong.
"Pop the latch, my friend," I said.
He tried to give me ten dollars afterward.
I held up my hand, smiled, and told him what had been told to me: "Buy your own set, man. It's your turn next."
America has no government department for dead batteries. It just has two hundred million working men waiting in the dark to hand off a pair of heavy copper cables.
