@MarkJCarney I'm deeply concerned by the humanitarian crisis in Toronto where Jewish institutions are targeted with assault rifles and fire bombs and nobody in government seems to care.
Proud to be on this lineup of men and women of different faiths, ethnicities, and politics.
We disagree on many things but not this:
Antizionism is a hate movement, and it must be opposed.

Some good advice. Social identity (& relationships), time invested, and perceived safety are more important factors than facts.
Kate Emerson (@KateEmerson88), a neo-Nazi who laments the fact that Hitler didn't manage to kill every Jew in the world, pretend to be both Jewish and from Oxford. In fact, she lives in Narrabri, NSW/Australia, and she's a Catholic. Nice try Kate.

Like every year, thousands of Palestinians visited the Temple Mount to pray at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the first night of Ramadan. Throughout the month, 10,000 Palestinians from the West Bank will be granted access to attend Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa.
Israel continues to facilitate freedom of worship for all religions. There is no apartheid here.

The sudden presence of #Iran at #Davos is an absolute scandal. Davos claims to be a sanctuary of dialogue, yet it offers its platform to a regime that has just massacred 20,000 of its own citizens. If Davos does not cancel this invitation, Davos should be shamed and boycotted.
8 years ago the managing partner of a law firm I worked at pulled me into a meeting and told me to 'tone down my aura of confidence" if I wanted to succeed there.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS 🚨
Stop Antizionism Has Launched — And We Are Here to Stop Antizionism Through Action.
Today marks a historic turning point.
A new Jewish leadership has emerged to confront the modern ideological system targeting Jews and Israel: ANTIZIONISM.
Not with slogans. Not with silence.
With strategy, education, and unapologetic moral clarity.
Stop Antizionism officially launches as a global initiative committed to exposing antizionism as the third era of Jew-hatred — a worldview built on libels such as colonizer, apartheid, genocide, and racist, used to construct Jews and Israel as the ultimate villains of the modern age.
This is not a debate. It is narrative warfare.
It is the mutated modern form of antisemitism, engineered through Soviet disinformation and globalized through institutions, academia, and culture.
And today, we say: Enough! In Hebrew - "Da i” דַּי “Dayenu" דַּיֵּנוּ
Stop Antizionism stands to restore moral clarity, defend civilization, and equip communities worldwide with the knowledge, tools, and strategic confidence needed to confront this hate movement at its roots.
A new era requires new leadership.
We are here. We are prepared. And we are serious.

Tonight was very difficult.
The University of Toronto's Governing Council was invited by the Israeli Consulate to view the footage of the October 7th massacre.
It was difficult because of what those few who chose to attend saw, and because of why it was necessary to see it.
I'm a doctor. I've seen horrible things, but what I witnessed was beyond description. The graphic footage of Hamas death squads gleefully shooting, burning, and cutting their way through women, men and the elderly was deeply disturbing. But it was the horrible fate of the children that will haunt me to my grave.
It was necessary to see it, because the University of Toronto continues to allow groups to hide behind dubious claims of academic freedom and freedom of speech when what is really being spread is hate.
One cannot bear witness to the horrors of the massacre and sincerely profess that holding a vigil on October 7th "Honouring our Martyrs" like the one held that University of Toronto Mississauga campus is acceptable, decent, or civil. The University can no longer rationalize away this type of outrageous behavior.
Guardrails for civil discourse and civil behavior must be established for students and staff alike if we are to fulfill our mission of shaping young minds to become the future of our great country.
We must bring the newly invigorated and vicious beast of antisemitism to heel, and we must start in our classrooms.

No, the Jews didn't "steal" the land of Israel, even if it was stolen from us. We bought it back, and very dear.
I've been extensively studying the history of the Land, from all directions, for a long time. I'm not pretending to be infallible, but I do know more than most laymen
Here are a few facts.
Since they were first allowed to, grossly in the end of the 18th century, Jewish individuals and organizations legally purchased land—often at significantly inflated prices—from Arab landowners, churches, and other sellers. These acquisitions typically involved marginal, uninhabitable areas such as malaria-infested swamps and arid deserts, which the British Mandate authorities in 1920 deemed largely unsuitable for settlement due to malaria prevalence rates ranging from 50% to 100% in affected regions (see maps).
But that's what they sold to us, and that's what we bought, because it was home.
The Jewish settlers drained swamps, died of malaria , and implemented innovative agricultural techniques.
Notably, Dr. Israel Kligler played a pivotal role between 1920 and 1922 in achieving the world's first national malaria eradication campaign.
Unlike previous rulers—such as the Ottomans, Crusaders, Arabs, and Romans—who viewed the region as a peripheral territory, for us, it's home, and we husbanded the Land as it was meant to be.
Israeli kids'still learn about some folk heroes.
Not warriors. Philanthropists.
British Sir Moses Montefiore initiated modern Jewish land acquisitions in 1855 by purchasing 10 hectares of orange groves in Jaffa, and then fell in love and purchasedmany thousands more, including the now uber-ezpensive Yemin Moshe neighborhood in Jerusalem. Back then he had to pay the Jerusalem Jews to live there, outside the Wall.
Baron Edmond de Rothschild sponsored 12 new towns in desert areas, including Rishon LeZion, Zikhron Ya’akov, Rosh Pina, and Metulla (founded in 1896), through substantial financial investments in land acquisition and reclamation. By 1900, he transferred 25,000 hectares andh continued purchasing land in areas like Lower Galilee for settlements such as Yavneel and Kfar Tavor.
In 1924, Rothschild founded the Palestine Jewish Colonization (back then they also "colonized" France)Association (PICA), acquiring over 125,000 acres and establishing 50 settlements, including Pardess Hanna and Binyamina.
A critical aspect of these transactions was the premium prices paid by Jewish buyers, far exceeding prevailing market values. For instance, in 1944, Jews paid between $1,000 and $1,100 per acre for arid or semi-arid land in Palestine—approximately ten times the price of fertile black soil in Iowa, which sold for about $110 per acre during the same period. This price inflation was sometimes driven by Arab landowners who raised complaints about sales to Jews as a tactic to elevate prices for their own benefit. Additionally, the influx of Jewish capital caused overall property values to rise sharply, benefiting sellers but underscoring the high costs borne by Jewish purchasers.
Under Ottoman and British Mandate rule, these purchases were conducted transparently and legally, .
But under Arafat and now Abbas governments, Arabs who sell land to Jews are killed.

If you were a prime minister or president, would you send your military to learn from a country that has committed war crime after war crime?
Well, despite allegedly committing every imaginable evil in the Gaza Strip since October 7, the IDF just hosted over 100 senior military representatives from nearly 20 countries in a five-day program, in which it took them through its takeaways from the past two years of a multi-front war.
Who took part? The United States, Canada, Germany, Finland, France, India, Greece, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Austria, Estonia, Japan, Morocco, Romania, Serbia, and Slovakia.
And no, they did not come to Israel to learn how to commit genocide or create a famine.
Ok, so what was discussed? “Topics covered included advances in the military use of data and AI, the co-ordination of drones and artillery to protect advancing troops, and how to increase the chances of injured soldiers surviving their wounds,” according to the @Telegraph.
But back to the participants.
France and Canada, which jumped on the latest international bandwagon of recognizing a Palestinian state, took part.
So did Germany, which imposed a temporary arms embargo on Israel in August.
Japan, which in September slammed the IDF’s operations in Gaza City as “entirely unacceptable” and likely to “aggravate the… famine” in the strip, also came to learn from the Israeli military.
So did Finland, whose president said that same month that the IDF’s continued war in Gaza “violates international law and norms.”
You get the point. Some of the countries who joined this program have taken great issue with Israel’s alleged aggressions against the Palestinian people in the past two years, yet they seem to have no qualms about learning from the very same Israeli military that they have repeatedly condemned.
Yes yes, I know domestic politics also plays a role in the condemnations. Nevertheless, world leaders should take note: you can publicly accuse Israel of war crimes, yet still sit in its classrooms — which raises the question, did you ever really believe your own condemnations?
Now you know how he was ‘freezing’ when it’s hot in Gaza: because he’s based in Poland! 🇵🇱❄️
And to think they’re the ones telling us to “go back to Poland!” 😂
