Is there anything that comes close to being as good ad Codex Realtime voice chat for coding snd computer use?
I love telling my codex what to do with voivr via phone app and it just spawns an agent and gets the work done on my mac mini.
… who comes a close second or third?
@heyBlueX didn't expect to love your product as much as I do. I have deleted and cancelled wisperflow. The gpt autocorrect is my fav feature by far. Love it
@thsottiaux Return to voice conversation after exiting a new codex thread. If instead a voice convo and end session. Im unable to register the session in voice mode. Dictate is only option.
@mattshumer_ The onboarding is pretty rough, and I did notice that the initial user agents that come out of the box are slow to respond.
Also... voice. I don't want another chat app.
@ryancarson I just point my agent.md file to use the Claude code front-end design skill for all front-end work and that's worked pretty well for me out of Codex
@testingcatalog Nevermind I just checked. Looks like tool calling with existing connectors works and the model says it’s running on opus 4.8. Hell yeah this is gonna be awesome.
The selector has been available for the last few days, but if you ask it what model it’s running on, it’s still Haiku. Tool calling isn’t great, but it is better than ChatGPT and Grok. I’m still blown away that none of the big players have figured out or rolled out to calling over Voice.
@CameronPak@Cowboycodey Enjoy it. Its better than listening to nursery rhymes. Moana and Encanto also have good soundtracks. Our daughter ripped got tired of them after a few months of playing them out.
