The temperature and rates of skin diseases are both rising across Gaza. Help here: https://t.co/LLwKJegeB1 The UN has warned that cases of skin conditions are more than tripling as families endure overcrowding, extreme heat, limited access to clean water, and inadequate sanitation. What begins as an insect bite, heat rash, or fungal infection can quickly become a painful and serious medical problem when treatment is unavailable.
On June 10, The Sameer Project conducted a Mobile Medical Day for dermatological issues in Al-Amanah Camp in Mawasi Khan Younis, providing care and medication to approximately 80 patients suffering from a range of skin conditions, including scabies, fungal infections, lice, flea bites, boils, and severe rashes. Our dermatology days cost on average $1,200 for treatments.
These campaigns bring immediate relief. They allow children to sleep without constant itching, help parents care for painful infections, and prevent minor conditions from becoming major health emergencies.
But these Medical Days are now on pause.
As donations continue to decline, our dermatology campaigns will likely be among the first services we are forced to cut. Imagine telling families they must continue suffering through insect bites, lice, fleas, scabies, heat rashes, boils, and fungal infections simply because no one is willing to fund the treatment.

Water water water 💧 Give water to Gaza: https://t.co/6l9JFjWInX
Gaza needs water and The Sameer Project is fulfilling a fraction of what’s needed. After the UNDP and other international organizations stopped water from 256 areas, we aspired to double our water distributions but we can’t even maintain the current amount.
The Sameer Project pays $6,300 daily to give out 430,000 liters of fresh water but we can do more, much more. We need you to help Gaza at a time where the media and the world turned a blind eye.

When a someone with physical or intellectual disabilities struggles, this pain does not stop during genocide. Help here: https://t.co/LLwKJegeB1. Congenital conditions do not disappear because of displacement. People living with severe limitations still require specialized nutrition, medical care, hygiene supplies, and consistent support every single day. However, in Gaza, the infrastructure that once helped support these cases has been destroyed, leaving families and caregivers to carry impossible burdens alone.
This is Saeed, a 21-year-old from Deir al Balah. For nearly a year now, we have continued to support Saeed because his needs do not end after one delivery or one intervention. His mother, his caregiver, is doing everything she can to provide him with comfort and dignity despite the collapse of healthcare systems, shortages of supplies, and the daily challenges of survival.
On May 24, The Sameer Project responded once again to Saeed’s appeal to help meet his monthly needs. This support included medication treatment, 3 cans of milk formula, and 3 packs of diapers. For a total of $222, including 11% banking commission.
Families caring for loved ones with congenital disabilities and debilitating conditions should not have to do this alone. Help us assist by donating to our Medical Campaign: https://t.co/LLwKJegeB1

Indescribable joy was seen in Al Nadi Al Bahri Camp this Eid morning when families got bags of meat. 250 kilos were given out to the families in the camp, one kilo per family. Help us get more: https://t.co/0848adg8SS
This is one out of four distributions this morning where The Sameer Project gave out 1,000 kilos of meat total. The total cost with 11% commission was $17,221. So each kilo cost around $17.
This Eid was exceptionally difficult to raise funds for as donations dropped drastically lately. But our community didn’t fail Gaza and allowed us to bring some joy to 1,000 families in Gaza this morning!
We plan to do another 1,000 kilos of meat in two days. Help us do that by donating to the zakat eligible Eid Campaign: https://t.co/0848adg8SS

@DduPwll@RossMcCaff Always the men who cannot see an issue and who refuse to see it from any point of view but their own.
But in any event, given most M&S stores do have more than one changing room, always was a men's and a women's, it is hardly a big ask to have them back to that again.
Bombings in Gaza are intensifying again. There are martyrs every single day. Families who survived nearly two years of genocide woke up yesterday to find three months of their salaries confiscated by banks over loans taken before the genocide - they decided NOW was the right time for repayment?? Amidst hunger and right before Eid!? Surviving genocide and now faced with the reality of not being able to feed their children, again. People are drowning in despair.
Urgent help needed: https://t.co/LLwKJegeB1
Your support helped us get a tent and goods for this family that went viral for losing their tent in fire. We also raised enough funds to help multiple families with tents. Without this community, we wouldn’t be able to provide aid so thank you so much!
Keep giving to Gaza: https://t.co/1j2S3RoAgU
The morning after the first video was filmed, The Sameer Project team immediately returned on May 17th, and provided aid. We gave the family a tent, hygiene package, food package, and 6 pair of pants that the family requested. Total with 11% commission was $315.
The Sameer Project gets tent requests regularly as many fires are breaking out with the heat and wind, and as families use wood fire to cook. We need your consistent support to keep providing help.

@GhostOfSocrates But I've also done some organizing in the university working collaboratively with students, which has been great. But there are few of us, it's true.
@GhostOfSocrates Ofc, but at the more immediate level the folks that enforce a particular model of higher ed are university admin. Fighting in the university means coming together against those forces and not faculty and students quibbling with one another.
