Heartbreaking news. The body of 41- year old Gavin Deloes has been found. He suffered a brain injury Friday during a car crash then Sunday walked out of Royal Columbian Hospital. Thinking of his friends and family @GlobalBC
I’ve read comments where viewers have questioned why he would leave, what was he thinking, etc. #braininjuries can cause confusion, anxiety, fear, paranoia, etc. This is so terribly sad. My deepest condolences to Gavin Deloes’ family and friends.
Family tells me he would have been 42 next week. @Fraserhealth continues to refuse to answer questions about how he was able to leave hospital and why family not notified. Their excuse? Patient confidentiality. @GlobalBC
@Peatches66 Hi, sorry! I’m not on Twitter often. Thank you for reaching out. :) I am sorry to hear that you are in the same boat. It’s a battle, isn’t it? I hope you are weathering this crazy time okay.
Some people have said these Conquer Covid-19 shirts are “too boring”. Well, guess what, Blake? Not anymore... Go to: https://t.co/RGPqXGZopF #boringtshirtchallenge 🇨🇦
We delivered care packages to strangers in our neighbourhood last night. Thank you @VancityReynolds for the boring shirts; we have NEVER looked this good . #bcwineninjas#conquercovid19
BREAKING: B.C. is recommending against all travel outside of Canada, including the U.S. Anyone who travels outside of the country will be required to stay home from work and school for 14 days. https://t.co/t3pRiJkGvy
It was an honour to write an opinion piece for @CBCVancouver as part of their #braintrust series on #concussions. I hope you like it!

As part of the @CBCVancouver series #BrainTrust, CBC asked their audience to share stories of living with #concussions. Here our four of their stories: https://t.co/Thmc34lS3G
Lack of documentation is incredibly common in TBI. The lack of lesions, lack of “proof”, lack of documentation prevents TBI survivors from being accepted into gov programs. -Eric Washington #ACLTBI#BrainInjuryAwarenessMonth
Today someone complemented me on my positive outlook, resulting in me bursting in tears as it became too much in that moment to keep on pretending.
We don't know what people are going through, be kind to one another 💙
And if you're struggling today, be kind to you.
@auldyth@MigraineBuddy Hi! I sustained a concussion in early 2017 and now suffer from chronic migraines/post-traumatic headaches daily. I, too, have constant spots in my vision, like the aura I had with my rare migraine attacks pre-injury. I was diagnosed with visual snow syndrome 👉🏻@VisualSnowInit
Today thousands of people will show they care about migraine and you should too! Here's how:
1. Wear sunglasses
2. Post a photo on social media with #ShadesForMigraine
3. Challenge 3 others to take part
We challenge @kchenoweth@bellamyyoung @brookebcnn @therealterrelldavis & YOU
