The Guardian has released a statement after Nigel Farage posted a photo of one of their photographers' press passes, implying that a photojournalist threatened his safety:
"The Guardian is concerned by the recent publication on Nigel Farage’s social media pages of the professional credentials of a photographer working on behalf of the Guardian while he was working lawfully in a public space. Holding public figures to account is the role of a free press.
"As part of the Guardian’s journalism covering Nigel Farage’s purchase of a £1.4m property in cash shortly after receiving a £5m personal gift, a photographer took pictures from a public path and showed his press card when asked to identify himself."

When a Jewish actress is portrayed with devil horns and a pitchfork, and the demand is that she be removed from public life, we are no longer in the realm of “criticism of Israel.”
This is the ancient machinery of antisemitic propaganda in modern activist costume: demonise the Jew, brand her morally repugnant, then insist she must be silenced.
History has seen this script so many times before. The costumes change. The target does not.
.@zarahsultana I assume this is a different Zarah Sultana MP to the one who was recently filmed clapping along to loudspeaker chants for intifada, on a street in Surrey.

President Trump has posted this picture on social media of himself as Christ healing the sick. I’ve long given up saying how hard it is to think of any previous US president who behaved like Donald Trump, but comparing himself to Jesus puts him on another level altogether.
BREAKING: Music legend Bruce Springsteen drops a bomb on MAGA world by announcing a surprise nationwide tour to defend America against "our wannabe king" and his "rogue government."
Best of all? The first stop is in Minneapolis.
"Fans, friends, and good folk from coast to coast. We are living through dark, disturbing, and dangerous times, but do not despair. The cavalry is coming," The Boss said in an announcement video.
"Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be taking the stage this spring from Minneapolis to California to Texas to Washington, D.C. for the Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour," he continued. "We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America, American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution, and our sacred American dream, all of which are under attack by our wannabe king and his rogue government in Washington, D.C."
"Everyone, regardless of where you stand or what you believe in, is welcome," Springsteen added. "So come on out and join the united free republic of E Street Nation for an American spring of rock and rebellion. I'll see you there."
By starting the tour in Minneapolis, Springsteen is intentionally drawing attention to the brutal violence and killings that Trump has inflicted on the city with his masked federal agents. The singer composed the hit song "Streets of Minneapolis" in response to the ICE crackdowns. It went on to chart #1 in 21 countries.
The tour starts March 31st and will entail 20-date arena showings. The timing is an absolute disaster for Trump, because it means the bard of blue collar America will be hammering his administration at one sold-out show after another. Given his rock bottom approval rating and worsening Epstein scandal, Trump can scarcely afford more bad press ahead of the midterm elections.
Springsteen has proven to be one of Trump's most formidable and outspoken foes. He recognizes that this president has betrayed the working class that populate so many of his hit songs and he despises the relentless attacks on our democracy.
Please ❤️ and share to thank Bruce Springsteen!
Women have the right not to undress in front of men at work.
Twenty years ago, that sentence would have been a statement of such obviousness that people would have laughed at you for saying it aloud. Now it's a matter for celebration. Congratulations, you heroines 🎉😘👏
Islamic regime imam: “Women are animals created by Allah to be used by men.
Women are no different from cows, sheep, horses, or mules. God made women resemble humans so they wouldnt frighten men.”
These are the mullahs who rule Iran. Why do they hate women so much?
Happy 20th anniversary to @Lumos! Over two decades, we've helped 280,000+ children and young people flourish in loving families, not institutions.
Through our work across 12+ countries, we've supported the transformation of child protection systems and driven lasting change. We know what works and how to scale it.
Today, I'm thrilled to announce Lumos' 10-Year Ambition for our next decade. Working with national and global partners, we will have at least twice the impact for children in half the time, reaching more children in more countries, more quickly.
Every child deserves to grow up in a safe and loving family. Together, we can make this vision reality.

The yellow ribbons are a sign of remembrance for the 48 people being held hostage in Gaza.
Having interviewed many of their families, seeing the ribbons and remembering their pain, feels very personal.
This teeny park near where I live (a place my then toddler thought was ‘heaven’ but is more often used by smokers and druggies) occasionally has yellow ribbons.
They don’t last long because in this terribly right-on area where I live remembering hostages is somehow seen as wrong.
Look at how proud this ignorant young woman is as she snips them down as she mutters she’s against ‘genocide’ as if the war wouldn’t be over if the hostages were returned.

You have to be pretty sick to go and chant “from the river to the sea” at a train station on the day of an antisemitic terrorist attack in which two British Jews were murdered.
On the holiest day of the year we are attacked at a Manchester synagogue. Our children walk to school behind barbed wire protected by guns. Yet some still answer this atrocity with “what about…” This is my country, the sanctuary my grandfather found after surviving the Holocaust, promising freedom under the rule of law. Today I pray for the victims, thank the brave who responded and wonder if that promise is fading. A community this small cannot stand alone. If you believe in Britain (wherever you’re from & whatever your faith) you must stand with us. Many Jews cannot imagine a future here and history tells us what follows when that happens.
I’m sure you can back up that assertion with a quote of mine, because otherwise it might look like you’re exactly the kind of person I’m describing: fixed beliefs, zero evidence, inventing grievances to justify a desire to silence people who say things you don’t like.
Next time you think about marching through London with a placard declaring the Iranian theocracy to be on “the right side of history”, just bear in mind this is a regime that takes out women’s eyes for protesting against their horrible misogyny. How progressive.
‘An experience not a pathology’ #impostersyndrome@BBCRadio4 @sarawheeler Yes. It’s always possible to move on from the feeling of not being good enough.
