@theneedledrop Fans now act like record label execs. The focus on identifiable metrics of success in the music industry (charts, RIAA, etc.) fails to take into account other values that make music great. This makes it easier to justify AI takeover (if AI can hit the metrics, then it’s good)

@sizzledp50 You didn’t miss out. They give very cliche answers and are really there for school liability reduction.

But also you went to Yale…which has a notoriously well regarded psych facility

Their duty is to shareholders, not the abstract integrity of the business or society writ large.

A classic example of the law making that clear is in Dodge v. Ford (Mich. 1919).

Not ideal…but based on case law they almost had a duty to accept his overpriced offer.

@CeeAllTheBees At the state level, it all depends on which judge receives it. A judge with less technological experience may feel there is a genuine issue of fact and move this past a motion to dismiss. I feel like all judges should be required to take an exam

@CeeAllTheBees The biggest issue with the outcome of the Depp case is that it legitimizes the pursuit of frivolous claims. Nate knows he can spin this however he wants to his audience b/c that’s exactly what he’s done for every single case he’s covered
