@roars33@Jandal_It@ThePosieParker@YouTube Completely experimental. ๐ No country in the world would allow this surgery to take place if it was experimental. Your comments reinforce why the people of NZ protested against messages of hate and misinformation being shared in our country. We stand proud in our actions
@PaulaBoddington@PureNewZealand So busy preparing for the influx of tourists now that everyone knows that the people of NZ stand up against transphobia?
@awaterevalley Itโs a period movie. Even when it was filmed, it was set 20 years earlier. Have a listen to the No Filter podcast where Olivia was interviewed - this question was put to her.

@instagram please give users the option of going back to the white background and smooth scrolling. The updates are horrid and white text on black is so hard to read and plays tricks on the eyes, destroying the user experience. At least give users the option of old or new.
@dbseymour And thank you to those who realise the significance of this holiday and have taken the time to understand, hear, and embrace. Take a moment @dbseymour to open your eyes, ears, & heart and educate yourself on what Matariki is about and drop your white privileged pretentiousness.
@TPistoll @tehamua@ginnyandersen Do you know why so few speak the first language of this country? Are you aware that there is massive uptake in revitalizing the language? And not just by Mฤori but other โ4th generation pฤkehaโ like me who have an iota of understanding that race has everything to do with it.
@lurchthrilla @MatthewHootonNZ @jacindaardern@dbseymour The 9-year kids in my class donโt have any issues with mask wearing. They understand why. Zero complaints. Maybe thatโs because they have supportive parents that help them to understand, and teachers that give them mask breaks (going outside) whenever needed.
@melulater@thewarehousenz@WarehouseStat This is the same at my local @thewarehousenz in Chch (Northlands). Went to get some specific stationery items that I have bought previously at the Warehouse. Couldnโt get what I wanted and ended up going to the Kmart down the road instead.
@melulater This is a reality for many and, like the family in the article, many of these families canโt actually afford the fees but feel they have no other option.
@MeetTheNeeds @OliverRMills I agree, too. Love can mean caring or โlikingโ someone a lot. I regularly say that I love the kids I teach, love the parents in my class, or love my colleagues. It means I really like them & feel very fortunate. It does not mean that I โloveโ them.
@Edk8R I think I need that. I have worked late every night over the last week - including until about 11pm on Friday night - and all day yesterday and I have woken up feeling like Iโve hit a wall. Keep thinking about the summer holidays and how they will make up for all the work!
@kerriatlearning I have and I think it is normal to have those moments. I always end up perking up and realising that I do want to be in education. There are other options than class teaching to consider within education. Though, plenty of people move out of education into great jobs as well!
@kerriatlearning@fabtknz I bet they are. But we have a natural tendency to focus on the student/colleague/parent that complains or under values you, eto. Just remember, they are only one person and think of all the others that do appreciate what you do even if it is unspoken.
@Edk8R I havenโt got there yet so am thinking an afternoon nap might be on the cards today. I rarely, if ever, do that but am feeling in need today. Worked all day yesterday and, if I am not careful, will today as well.
