Dad read to me till he was 84. Have you read the latest Keneally? he’d ask on the phone, & off he’d go. We lose child readers at 6 or 7 when parents stop reading aloud & kids only have simple books they can manage, instead of ones that fascinate.
Never stop reading to kids.
