What’s so frustrating about the past month is how the media has attempted to tear down the Jays over and over again.
And in the end. It feels like they won. The Jays will be split and Jaylens relationship with Boston will be broken.
I’m happy to say I never took it for granted. Jaylens impact on the community was nothing shy of amazing. Tatum & Brown came in as teenagers and beat every narrative thrown at them.
Multiple finals appearances, game 7’s, All-Star games, Olympic trips. There was nothing they didn’t accomplish and they did that TOGETHER.
So to the media. You finally got what you wanted to do for the last 8 years. You’ve pinned the two against each other and drove a narrative that the city of Boston and Jaylen Brown won’t like each other.
But the truth? Jaylen Brown is a Celtics legend.
He was yesterday. Will be tomorrow and 20 years from now his number will be hanging in the rafters.
Thank you Jaylen Brown☘️
No. 1 Duke walks out of Purcell Pavilion with a 100-56 win over Notre Dame.
It’s the most lopsided home loss in program history.
Jon Scheyer shares a moment with Marcus Freeman postgame.
Cooper Flagg asked his mom if there was ever a moment when she felt like he had really made it. Her response was:
“The moment that I saw you run out for the first time with Duke across your chest. Growing up as a lifelong Duke fan, to see you play and suit up for that team was pretty incredible, for sure. That was a dream.”
