@cgehan1 @Drm2999 I think it also serves to teach audience a lesson about sin and flaws in the human condition that leads to horror #hamlet

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

@EmmaIBritez I think he had a change of heart as he started to see Claudius for who he really is, awakened and realized his mistake #hamlit

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

@EmmaIBritez @Drm2999 I think he is level headed with some serious issues that will cause extreme action, or extreme lack of action #hamlit

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

@EmmaIBritez I think that serves to repeat the theme of Claudius being morally corrupt and weak, causing country to also become weak #hamlit

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

@cgugsluvslit I think it is a testament to his religousness, we see it stop his suicide several times and it decides his actions #hamlit

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

@ConnerCReed or even stock our english class #falzfrome

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

22 million in property taxes collected every year, could purchase four million Frome books to build zeena a new home #falzfrome

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

@cgugsluvslit @dqjelly3 #falzfrome probably feelings of societal guilt more than anything, as he seems to despise her with a passion.

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

@cgugsluvslit #falzfrome I think its a good representation of the novel as a whole. This is a book covering the lack of action by Ethan.

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

I think the extremely low bar set by the current relationship also helped tremendously in not considering problems @barbara_mell0 #falzawake

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

I found it to be a very intersting way to establish characters/ mood of the text, whil reinforcing idea of setting @cgugsluvslit #falzfrome

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

Argument could even be made that the marriage was more inapropriate as neverending arguing, conflict, and sadness @katemorandi99 #falzfrome

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

Inappropriate by societal standards, but society is what didn't allow him divorce and follow dreams/be happy @katemorandi99 #falzfrome

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

@LibbyCarter19 @barbara_mell0 Doesn't she ask for fence to be built and urge him to? Doesn't seem like she wants more freedom #falzfences

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

@dqjelly3 Absolutely, stuck in a poverty cycle and uneducated and cheated by life would make anyone angry and desperate to be happy/ escape

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

@barbara_mell0 I saw the fence as a repres of commitment, Troy unable to make fence shows can't to commit to rose and reality #falzfences

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

Rose almost stronger than Troy since she can handle reality while it drives Troy to blame devil and have affair/ escapism #falzfences

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

Troy inability to make fence in real life good representation of his commitment to marraige and son. #falzfences

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

@Drm2999 @jose_velazquez Could also be a reference to how he is stuck in the white man's hell with him not being able to escape poverty.
