@veronicablachni He understands now that H had really similar motives to him and sympathizes with him bc of that #hamlit

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

V.I - Gravedigger: "There [in England] the men are as mad as he [Hamlet]" (V.I.159-160) Hamlet's insanity is equated to the British #hamlit

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

IV-III - Hamlet refers to Claudius as "mother" - manipulation of logic - blatant disrespect to the King #hamlit

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

@dqjelly3 IV-IV*

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

V.IV - Hamlet seems right in saying the Norway/Poland conflict is unecessary, just weird that this is how he justifies his vengeance #hamlit

[Conner Reed @ConnerCReed]

22 million in property taxes collected every year, could purchase four million Frome books to build zeena a new home #falzfrome

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

@katemorandi99 @cgugsluvslit "at least"

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

@cgugsluvslit @katemorandi99 he would also be shamed for abondonning her bc she is disabled somewhat and would look lik/be a jerk #FalzFrome

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

@dballbhs weather also plays a part in this. Zeena is compared to the icy chill of the winter, while Mattie stands out because of her warmth

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

#FalzFrome interesting use of rhet. questioning. By posing Ethan's thoughts and indecisions as question, its almost like we read his mind https://t.co/UgW3xMMHet

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

@dqjelly3 If he gave the farm and mill to Zeena what would be left him to start his own life with? … And what of Zeena’s fate?” (114-115).

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

@dqjelly3 If he gave the farm and mill to Zeena what would be left him to start his own life with? … And what of Zeena’s fate?” (114-115).

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

“Why should he not leave with Mattie the next day, instead of letting her go? …. [He begins writing his note to Zeena] #falzfrome (cont...)

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

@cploveslit by comparing Mattie to the summer, she contrasts with the harsh wintery setting,making her stand out even more to him #FalzFrome

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

@Drm2999 @acheriath1 never would've thought to compare the two tbh

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

@Drm2999 @acheriath1 1984's cruelty was about how powerful institutions can oppress thought. Here, EF is "oppressed" by his wife #FalzFrome

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

@EmmaIBritez not only a characterization of Ethan, but of the "deadness" of Starkfield as well #FalzFrome

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

@jose_velazquez winter makes everything cold and archaic, representing the coldness between Ethan and his wife/his surroundings #FalzFrome

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

“'Guess he’s [Ethan’s] been in Starkfield too many winters’” (7). #FalzFrome we know even before we meet Ethan that he is troubled

[Quentin Kelly @dqjelly3]

@Frederick12321 he had also played long before this, tho. His fears were true back then, but times changed by Clemente #falzfences
