I really feel it is the opposite… For many people trigger warnings are what enable them to experience powerful, emotive theatre!For ages I avoided watching new stuff. Trigger warnings mean I can experience ‘shocking’ theatre without the stress of it being too close to home.

This is why we continue to educate and raise awareness about #PoTS:
🟣But it can’t be that bad
🟣You’re Overreacting
🟣You don’t look ill
🟣It’s just anxiety
🟣It’s all in your head

Many patients are told that their physical symptoms are ‘all in their head’ and given psychiatric labels of #anxiety and #depression.

Disability is equivalent to Congestive Heart Failure and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

50% of patients are unable to attend work or school, and 25% are wheelchair users.
