@mcallen_mike@DaveyDonn There’s some of that definitely but the bigger issue in my eyes is that no party wants to tackle the endemic mismanagement in the public sector.
@SeanMolloyIR @JohnOBrennan2 True neutrality has never been something Ireland has asserted, as John has pointed out. IMO this position is neither possible or virtuous. Getting rid of the triple lock and increasing military spending will go some way to us ensuring military neutrality at the very least.
@SeanMolloyIR @JohnOBrennan2 Neutral states are influenced by the anarchic nature of the international state system whether they consent to it or not. They have never, nor will ever, be immune to this system. Our neutrality is guaranteed by the fact we are a western democracy that aligns with western values
@dubsoulrebel Christ on a two stroke scrambler, he’s a professional football manager not a Make-a-Wish child. He earned half a million quid a year for fuck sake.
@TheIrishKieran Its the managers job to reduce individual errors through coaching. You, and lots of others were wrong on Kenny and his abilities at this level. Own it, we’re all wrong in life at some point. Time to draw a line under his time as manager. The commentary is exhausting at this point
@karldeeter There’s always talks ongoing. That’s how war is. Also, from a purely selfish perspective why would we want peace? Russia is stuck in a long, protracted war of attrition for pretty much no western effort. WRT sanctions, they don’t win any wars, they disrupt the subjects war effort
@McDonnellDan Needs to be sectioned, clearly deranged if he thinks he can comment in others results. Thought his rant as being “the modest successful active Irish manager” a few months back was bad but Jesus Christ.
@corm1987@bbuick4@BholdBhoy@VMSportIE The majority of their players play in either the Greek league or on the Turkish league, our players aren’t a million miles from them and they shouldn’t be beating us home and away with ease. That’s on Kenny.
