@DavQuinn The guy is a charlatan. A very dubious past to say the least, no track record to speak of.
He has now hitched his wagon to a grotesque mixture of hyper Woke social policies & radical Islamism.
The question is how long can this bandwagon of polar opposites stay on the road.
@Vote_HQ A government coalition of 4 parties of the Left would be very unstable & would fall apart within 18 months due to the flakiness of both the SocDems & PBP.
@Independent_ie They are both now fighting over the same 15% share of the electorate . My bet would be on Holly as the SocDems still have clean hands as they have never been tested in government.
@IrishTimes Unlike the UK Greens who are an untested entity, the Irish Greens have had two spells in government both of them ending in disaster for the party. The Irish Greens are a busted flush with climate change no longer in vogue.
@DavQuinn A toxic internecine battle on Left in the 6th most left-wing seat in the UK ends in a major defeat for the moderate Left. Expect further turbulence going forward for current UK administration.
@LiamMacEoghain@griptmedia Pointing out how people voted on religious lines still isn't racist. I see how you ignored my original point. Catholics in the UK traditionally voted overwhelmingly for the secular Labour Party was that religion and politics mixing...
@LiamMacEoghain@griptmedia Islam is a religion & not a race. You cannot be accused of racism for pointing out how people voted along religious lines.
@griptmedia This is dangerous news for Labour, their voter coalition has been fractured. In seats with a high concentration of Muslim voters, Labour will be very vulnerable at the next election. This just adds to their current woes.
@tullaman@griptmedia The answer to that is the alternative to this scheme is the dole. It speaks volumes that there are no resources being given to these so called artists to retrain or upskill to get an actual job.
@davidmcw No, Epstein's influence was over a minor member of the British RF. Rasputin on the other hand was at the centre of the Romanov court and influenced government policy.
@DavQuinn Interestingly in this landscape the amount of Catholics across the UK has hardly changed since 1983. 9% in the 1980s. The collapse of Anglicanism has been spectacular from 40% of the population 40 years ago to 11% today.
